The Consulate General of Jamaica, New York is thrilled to be in Chicago, Illinois, for our Diaspora and Passport Outreach from November 16–18! This initiative is aimed at providing essential consular services to Jamaicans in Chicago and the surrounding regions, making it easier for you to handle consular matters without the need to travel to New York.

Today, I’m taking the opportunity to connect with our vibrant diaspora business owners and will be visiting the famous Good to Go Jamaican Restaurant in Evanston, located in the north suburbs of Chicago. I look forward to celebrating their success and exploring how we can continue to support Jamaican-owned businesses in the diaspora.

Please share this invitation with your friends and family in Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, Michigan, Iowa, Minnesota, and Missouri. We’re here to serve and support you! @myvmgroup - pictured here is Mr. Paul Elliott, CEO of the VM Building Society.

There comes a time when your journey demands that you rise — not because everything is perfect, but because purpose won’t let you stay where you are.

Every lesson, every setback, and every comeback has shaped the woman I’ve become. I stand today not defined by what I’ve been through, but by the strength it took to keep going.

Stay tuned for the comeback. ‼️

Love, laughter, lessons, and life with this man right here.
Through the good, the bad, the ups and downs—we’ve stood strong, side by side.
And if I had to do it all over again… I’d still say I do.

Here’s to forever❤️.
We’re still writing our love story—one beautiful chapter at a time.
