We KNOW, we know… Goo Goo Cluster and the Grand Ole Opry just MAKE SENSE together. 🎶🍫

The Nashville connection is strong, but the names? Totally unrelated. 👀 Goo Goo has been a Nashville sweet since 1912, while the Grand Ole Opry didn’t come along until 1925.

So where did “Goo Goo” actually come from? Candy maker Howell Campbell was riding the streetcar to work when he shared that his baby son’s first words were “goo goo”. A teacher riding with him suggested it would be the perfect name for his new candy, and the legend was born! by @googooclusters
