Dear friends + clients, we have a feeling Nashville would look good on someone you know 🤍

And we’d love to be the ones to welcome them.

When someone comes to Middle Tennessee to explore the possibility of calling it home, we believe the experience should feel special from the very beginning. A few local favorites, a little Southern hospitality, and a thoughtful introduction to the communities we’re so lucky to call home.

Because finding the right house is only part of the story. It’s discovering the neighborhoods, the people, the local favorites, and all the little things that make life here so special.

One of the greatest compliments we receive is being trusted with the people who matter most to you. And we never take that lightly.

So, if you have a friend, family member, or someone close to you dreaming of a move to Middle Tennessee, we’d be honored to welcome them with the same care we’ve shared with you.

Send this their way. We’d love to show them what makes this place feel like home 🏡

With love,
The Jernigan Group

🍫 Design your own custom @googooclusters in Nashville!

During our trip to music city this was a must visit! Since 1912, this iconic Nashville treat has been America’s original combination candy bar, but making your own is even better. Order from their interactive kiosk by picking your chocolate base, selecting your favorite layers, and stack on the add-ins. Then watch as the chocolatiers handcraft your quarter-pound creation.

With rotating flavors, every visit offers a new mix to try. It makes the ultimate Nashville gift to take home if it even lasts that long 😋! Put this at the top of your list for your next Nashville trip.

Sometimes everything has to fall apart to make room for something new.

Six months ago, after nearly 16 years, I unexpectedly lost my job due to a corporate layoff.

The months leading up to the layoff had already brought challenges that had taken a toll on me. Just when things were starting to feel like they might get better, life took another unexpected turn.

The way my career ended doesn’t erase nearly 16 years of hard work, the dedication I gave, the employee and manager I was, or the career I built.

One difficult chapter doesn’t erase all the chapters that came before it.

None of this means I’ve become less successful, less capable, or less worthy. And if you’ve been through something similar, I hope you remember that about yourself, too. 🤍

I’m proud of myself for how I’ve handled this difficult season.

One of the hardest parts of this season has been seeing more clearly who was there for me. The reality is that very few people have shown up for me during this time or during other difficult seasons of my life. Sometimes, even having someone simply ask how I was doing would have meant so much.

In my next chapter, I hope to find more genuine friendships, meaningful connections, and a strong support system.

I’ve really appreciated the kindness and encouragement I have received, though, from people in my life, including those I’ve connected with here on Instagram. 🤍

After the layoff, I made the decision to take some time for myself. After years of focusing on my career, I needed time to focus on me.

I’ve spent so much of my life building a career. Now I’m also learning what it means to build a life I love.

I’ve chosen not to name my former employer or publicly discuss the details of my layoff. Corporate layoffs can happen anywhere. This post is about my personal journey and finding hope in a season of uncertainty. 🤍

I’m still figuring things out, but I’m ready to see what comes next. I’m ready for my next chapter of everything.

I still have BIG PLANS. 📖🤍✨

🍫✨ Day 3 in Tennessee started on the sweetest note possible — a chocolate-making class at the famous Goo Goo’s in Nashville!

We had such a fun time learning how to make our own Goo Goo creations, laughing, getting a little messy, and meeting some amazing people along the way. One of my favorite parts was meeting Amy from Rotterdam — she was definitely my favorite chocolate-making partner! 🇳🇱❤️

A huge shoutout to Mahala and Hannah, our wonderful group instructors. They were fun, patient, knowledgeable, and made the entire experience even better. The customer service at Goo Goo’s was seriously next level from beginning to end!

Such a fun and memorable way to kick off Day 3 in Tennessee. If you’re visiting Nashville, I definitely recommend adding a Goo Goo chocolate-making class to your list! 🍫🤎
