I won her heart in 1987. On first sight, across the Ivy House pub in Sunderland, she told her friend she was going to marry me. We wrote letters whilst I was at Birmingham Uni and I returned to Sunderland to do my Masters.

Her friend came back from travelling the world and ended up in Bournemouth hospital too in 1996, not knowing we were here. She looked down at Angela’s name badge and said, you bloody did marry him!

💛💙 Meant to be. Always her number 1.

I know she has always loved me from day 1, and day -1 even, but that’s a different story. by @gordonfong

What does Gordon Fong actually get up to?

People ask what do I do, as a director of Kimcell and a partner in X-Net. Not the most straightforward of tasks so I have done a little video for you to watch. It will answer some questions… and leave some vagueness in other areas, for good reason.

This is a video that I made with the help of Justin Cohen. It’s not an agency thing, it’s a me thing.

I had the original idea, learnt a few things from the You Are The Media crowd, executed it, didn’t overthink it, and released it.

Terrible mah jong piece, pairs galore. Although a triple set of those annoying characters is unusual. @mahjongscd by @gordonfong

It’s a disease. All too often when I’m coming back from somewhere, I’ll just nip into a record store… @vinyl.van #inDorchester - I’ve seen to hit on a lot of Redskins lately after decades of nothing but my first 7 inch single. by @gordonfong

First time to @originfirefood just down the road in the New Forest where @droptheanchorbrewery are also located. Had this fantastic platter. Might as well get a bit of everything for a few pennies more. Two of us were stuff and had to get more bread to mop things up. Chicken, lamb and halloumi. I should have gone in the summer when the sun was out but it’s also hearty food for darker nights too. Well done @bignosebbq taken in Origin Barbecue by @gordonfong

PFR, Perfect Fried Rice, or Prawn Fried Rice.

Start with cold leftover rice. Pan fry to heat through and dry further to crisp up. Add in frozen prawns and veg mix, defrosted or not won’t make much difference. Season and keep stirring and pressing the rice down as it will get soggy from the prawns and veg mix. Add spring onions in. Add in pre-scrambled eggs, I don’t like adding wet egg to the already fried rice. Keep stir frying until the spring onions have cooked through. Add a spoonful of XO for spice and aroma. Keep stirring. Turn off heat and let it settle a bit. Add soya sauce now, not when the heat is on as not to burn it. by @gordonfong

A fun little video I did from an idea I had travelling up to Manchester for the newest location to have a @youarethemedia Lunch Club. A great success for the people organising and supporting. It shows solopreneurs, freelancers and small business owners want to be with others because it’s good for the soul. by @gordonfong
