We’ve got another exciting signing event to announce in partnership with the incredible comics festival, Thought Bubble (@thoughtbubblefestival)! Ahead of his appearance in Harrogate on the weekend, the artist Raúl Allén (@raul_allen), will be in the shop signing on Wednesday 11th November 2026, from 6-7pm, to celebrate the recently released Doctor Strange: Endless Nightmare.

The latest book in the critically acclaimed, award-winning Marvel Arts line of stand-alone graphic novels curated by Alex Ross, featuring Doctor Strange in a psychedelic trip to the Nightmare Realm, brought to life by the creative team behind the national bestselling graphic novel adaptations of Dune

When Stephen Strange encounters a mysterious patient at his hospital who won’t stop raving about how life is “nothing but the dream of a sleeping god,” the rest of the world is suddenly struck with insomnia.

In order to prevent chaos from unfolding as the people around him become more and more desperate for sleep, Doctor Strange must embark into the mind of the madman who seems to have heralded this disaster, taking a psychedelic trip into the Nightmare Realm.

Kevin J. Anderson, Raúl Allén, and Patricia Martín, the creative team behind our trilogy of bestselling graphic novel adaptations of Dune, reunite to combine their creative talents once again. In this visually stunning, fantastical adventure that has shades of Winsor McCay’s Little Nemo, Doctor Strange: Endless Nightmare explores the boundary between dreams and reality, combining forces with an unlikely ally in order to end a waking nightmare that threatens to destroy the world.

You can meet Raúl on Wednesday 11th November, from 6pm. You can pre-order a signed copy from our website by clicking the link in our bio.

It’s here. Depending on your perspective this is either a tome of hugely depressing but excellently cartooned, raw and slimy id, or a hilarious and honest rough ride through the perverted mind of generational talent. Maybe it’s both. This is the definitive edition of Peep Show from @fantagraphics.

Joe Matt was a complicated character whose work wasn’t for everyone, but his cartooning chops were undeniable.

Few comic book series can claim to have influenced a generation of cartoonists, comics fans, and comedians the way Joe Matt’s Peep Show did during its fourteen issues from 1992 to 2006. With an often alarming and always hilarious compulsion to confess, Matt found no aspect of his life that wasn’t more grist for the humor mill: his dysfunctional (and sometimes abusive) relationships, his Catholic repression, his horrible social skills, his addiction to pornography, his masturbation habits, etc. Yes, the character Joe Matt was usually an insufferable outsider, but in the hands of Joe Matt the writer/artist, his life was depicted with an eye and ear for human folly that rivalled R. Crumb, as well as an entertainer’s instinct and sense of comedic timing to rival Larry David, and it made Peep Show one of the most essential reads of its era.

This book collects for the first time the entire original fourteen-issue series in one hardcover volume, as well as the posthumously-published fifteenth issue from 2024 (detailing Matt’s move to Los Angeles in 2003 to pursue an ill-fated HBO adaptation of his work), each presented as painstakingly-restored facsimiles of the original issues. This definitive Joe Matt collection also includes other art and ephemera from the artist’s personal archives, including a hand-written introduction to a complete Peep Show collection that at the time was purely hypothetical and was only discovered after his death in 2023. Peep Show is rounded out with an insightful afterword by Diana Schutz, the Will Eisner Hall of Fame comics writer and editor, and longtime friend of Matt’s (and sister of Trish, Matt’s ex-girlfriend and key player in Peep Show’s cast).

We’re delighted to welcome Nick Abadzis (@nickabadzisart) and Angela Watson to the shop to celebrate the launch of their comic, My Beloved Other (@mybelovedother)! The couple will be here on Thursday 5th November 2026 from 7-9pm. We’ll also be releasing an exclusive signed mini-print to accompany all copies of the book! Check it out by clicking the link here.

A timely graphic memoir about the far-reaching impact of racism in today’s society, as seen through the lens of one couple’s interracial marriage. Where does the concept of “the other” come from? And who truly benefits when we allow fear of the other to steer our society? Through charming banter and illuminating anecdotes from their personal lives, artist Nick Abadzis and psychotherapist Angela Watson chronicle their nearly forty-year interracial relationship, their respective family histories, and their ongoing experiences with anti-Black racism in Britain and America, from the overt racial taunts of childhood bullies to the more subtle biases of the adult workplace. In the midst of a dangerous political backlash that threatens to derail decades—if not centuries—of movement towards a more equitable and diverse world, My Beloved Other puts questions of race front and center, and turns a critical eye to the systems that seek to exploit our differences. Above all else, it challenges readers to do what can sometimes feel impossible: keep hope alive for a future where difference is embraced as a source of unity, not division.

We can’t wait to see Nick and Angela on Thursday 5th November, from 7pm! Pre-order a signed mini-print edition of the comic from our website by clicking the link in our bio.

It’s a Hanawalt (@lisadraws) world and we’re just living in it, supreme cartoonist and one of the creative forces behind Bojack Horseman, Tuca and Bertie and Long Story short is back with her new title from @drawnandquarterly - I Can’t stop thinking about Sex and Horses. To celebrate we’ve restocked all of Lisa’s old titles and we’re taking the opportunity to show off our exclusive Hannawaltian print Circo Antilopinae!

“I Can’t Stop Thinking About Horses and Sex marks the long-awaited return of Tuca & Bertie creator and BoJack Horseman producer/production designer Lisa Hanawalt to comics. This is the honest, silly, horny and vulnerable memoir of a horse girl, now in her forties and reflecting back on a lifetime of obsessions.

Whether Hanawalt is confronting large life issues like whether or not to have kids, being an anxious lil freak, caring for a sick horse, revisiting childhood trauma, or dealing with a major breakup and the ensuing lustfulness—she delivers a reading experience that’s relatable, affirming, and almost always hilarious. In lush colors and kinetic lines, she charts the strange terrain of life, one bumpy, dusty horseback ride at a time.”

The final Birdking volume is now out! The fourth and concluding volume of the dark fantasy epic is one of our most highly anticipated books this year and we are jumping with excitement to take it home to read! To celebrate the release, we’ve planned a signing with the magnificent artist CROM (@crom.ink) on Saturday 21st November 2026, from 2-3pm. Here’s what publisher Dark Horse Comics (@darkhorsecomics) say about the book.

From the creators of Raiders Daniel Freedman (@notdanielfreedman) and CROM, comes this fourth installment of the dark fantasy graphic novel of epic adventure and magic. THE GRAND CLIMAX OF THE DARK FANTASY SAGA BIRDKING! The final battle begins. With Atlas overrun and nowhere else to flee, Bianca, Birdking and the rest of the gang decide it’s time to go home. But home is where their greatest enemies reside, including Aghul, the dreaded necromancer of the North and his four remaining undead Wraiths. Perhaps a final showdown is in order to prove who really owns Feather Hill…

You can meet CROM to get your signed copies of Birdking on Saturday 21st November, from 2pm. We’ve released an exclusive sticker sheet to accompany the new volume too, which you can order right now for collection at the signing or for mail-order by clicking the link in our bio.
