The best moment of my life 😭😭 thank you, @danibuzzini for giving me a pep talk before Changbin came to our section. Thank you, @andi2cr and @wintermoontaejin for recording the moment for me, from my involuntary R2D2 noise to me crying. I’m so grateful for this moment, for my ult bias perceiving me for .5 seconds that lasted eternity in my mind 😍💜😭🤩😍💜😭🤩 so totally worth being at SoFi at 2am to earn our barricade spot. by @got.winx

I watched my first kdrama, Heartstrings, in November 2019. I looked up the actor and found CNBLUE. They were the first Korean group I ever listened to and they became the soundtrack for my residency interview trail. They introduced me to kpop and, effectively, changed my life. Id you would have told me that, 5 years later, I’d not only see them in concert but that I’d be VIP, get a signed poster, be lucky enough to get the random 1/15 signed polaroid, Jungshin would tell me hi, Minhyuk would thank us for coming, Yonghwa would reach out to shake my hand, AND we’d get a picture of them, I’d say you were crazy. Such an amazing, genuine, experience. The highlight of my kpop journey and a memory I’ll treasure forever. by @got.winx

Tonight, I was awarded Resident Teacher of the Year by the Loma Linda School of Medicine, as chosen by the medical students and school faculty. Out of 755 resident physicians, it is such an amazing honor to be recognized and thought of by my students. From having to repeat my first year of medical school to graduating with this award and going on to fellowship in July, what a journey it has been. I hope to continue to be a physician who cares, who inspires, and who teaches students to be good doctors and better people. Thank you, from the bottom my heart, love Dr. Agee 💜 and thanks to @h.lokos for being my moral support and keeping me company during the super long ceremony by @got.winx

Hi Mom,
It’s been 6 years. Last weekend, on Tara’s anniversary, I got to see BTS. I know my liking BTS confused you; I remember your face as you cam downstairs at 1AM and saw me watching a concert with Andi. They make me happy, Mom. And more importantly, BTS brought me a family. They brought me so many people I love. You’d love them too. I wish you could listen to us laugh and tell stories of our ridiculous adventures. I’m happy mom. I’m so so happy. I feel like you never saw me happy during the last few years of your life when I was in medical school. But I’m happy now. I’m happy and I wish I could tell you. I’m accomplishing my dreams and I wish I could tell you. I love you and I miss you. So much. PS. I got engaged at the concert. It was unspoken, but I saw it in his eyes. by @got.winx

I can’t believe this happened. In the past 3 months, I’ve interacted with two BTS members, which is CRAZY to me. I could never in my wildest dreams have thought I’d say that sentence.

Thank you to @atiny.army.of.stays for securing tickets and recording the moment! Thank you to the nicest Army next to me who sent me her video of Jin touching my hand when my video didn’t show it.

I made it. I survived the night shifts, the busy inpatient units, nonstop pages, the agitated patients, and the endless note writing. I’ve graduated residency and get to start my Child/Adolescent fellowship in a few weeks. I couldn’t have done it without my awesome, snarky, introvert class and my wonderful family 💜 Here’s to the next adventure! PS: SOOO excited my wonderful Titi could make it!! Even if her flights from Boise were canceled and she was only here for less than 24hrs. by @got.winx

A little over three years ago, right before the pandemic, I started listening to BTS. Their music, their lyrics, their writing gave me hope and happiness after Mom had her stroke, went through rehab, then passed away. This past Sunday, on Mother’s Day, I got to see my favorite member, Suga, one of their main writers and producers, perform his solo pieces from VIP floor. I watched him perform Amygdala, which speaks about his traumatic memories and pain, how he wishes he could erase them from his brain, but then who would he be? This song is so personal to me and is so meaningful. What an absolutely blessing this weekend was. And thank you, @a_dragon_soul, for holding my hand as I ugly-cried into my army bomb. by @got.winx

A week ago, we were driving back from BTS Permission to Dance D3 & D4. The Bellagio Fountains danced to Dynamite. The Strip was lit up purple. Our screams at the comeback announcement made people in the casinos think there was an earthquake. Amazing memories, amazing people. Let’s all do it again soon. 💜 by @got.winx
