Guess we Gotcha vibin’ all August 🤪

What a thrill August has been!

We officially opened our 2nd store at Jurong Point and met many of you in person again, got to collab with @gmaine.tay on one of the most iconic and challenging seasonal menus (want want eispanner matcha sold out almost every single day), welcomed a few new friends to the team, hanged with St Andrew’s Secondary School on their project at our Woodleigh store, and officially launched our Signature House Blend Matcha powder that sold out in 48 hours.

The support in the west has been incredible. There’s still a lot for us to get a hang of and improve, and we really want to thank you for being so encouraging and supportive. ❤️

We’re officially opening our 2nd store at @jurongpoint tomorrow, 21 August! 🎉

We’ve also got some new drinks inspired by ‘Memories Growing Up in Singapore’, created by the SG queen herself @gmaine.tay 🤪

🍡 Pulut Hitam Dango Matcha (only at Jurong Point)
A hot whisked matcha, nutty light hojicha and coconut cream, topped with a handmade Pulut Hitam black glutinuous rice dango.

🥤Want Want Wangzai Eispanner Matcha
This has been SO POPULAR at our Woodleigh store the past 2 weeks. It sold more than our Strawberry Matcha and Cookie Butter Matcha, which tells a lot. So we’re keeping it on the menu.

🍋‍🟩 Lime Solero Slushie Matcha (only at Woodleigh Mall)
We’re extending this too since some of you have been asking for it! This is a light citrusy matcha slushie, topped with a vanilla ice cream inspired cream. Highly recommend you to squeeze the fresh lime for an extra refreshing kick.

These exclusive specials end 31 August 2026. Comment which drink you’re most excited for and we’ll gift one of you a free cup of that.

Found a matcha spot that DOES NOT hold back on the matcha powder‼️🍵

@gotchamatcha.sg uses a whopping 5-6g of matcha in their large drinks, so you already know they’re THICK. The matcha flavour was super prominent and wasn’t diluted or overpowered by the milk or other flavours at all 🤌🏻 Plus, the cups are HUGE for the price! ✨

Here’s what I tried:
🍵 Earl Grey Matcha $8.50 (Large, 16 oz) I loved the floral earl grey notes with the matcha! You can still clearly taste both flavours without one overpowering the other.

🍌 Banana Pudding Matcha $9 (Large, 16 oz) The banana pudding was super creamy but the matcha still comes through.

They also have a student promo ⭐️:
2 regular-sized drinks for just $9.90 from Mon to Fri, 4-6PM, valid for Matcha, Strawberry Matcha, Cookie Butter Matcha or Hojicha!

Happy birthday, Singapore! 🇸🇬 🎉

If you remember, we did Singapore’s iconic flavors last year: Kaya Toast Pudding Matcha, Milo Dinosaur Matcha, and even a Durian Pudding Matcha (still thinking about this one).

This year, we wanted to do things a little differently.

Instead of the obvious Singapore flavors, we wanted to create drinks inspired by memories of growing up on this little red dot. Flavors you might not immediately think of when someone asks “What represents Singapore?”, but ones that instantly take you back to being a kid.

And we didn’t want to do it alone.

When we saw that @gmaine.tay had been frequenting our store, we knew we had to collab with her. We’ve always loved her content and personality on cam (and she’s somehow even more fun and down-to-earth irl). Basically, she’s THE Singaporean gal we needed for this.

So, introducing this year’s specials, created by the queen herself @gmaine.tay 🫶🏻

Lime Solero Slushie Matcha 🍋‍🟩🍦
Remember that green lime ice cream? A hot-day-after-school kind of treat. Lime-infused matcha ice blended with a vanilla ice cream-inspired cream top. Refreshing, slight citrusy, but still earthy and creamy because of the matcha.

Want Want Wangzai Eispanner Matcha 🍼
Tastes exactly like the red canned Want Want milk, with a little White Rabbit candy + Want Want cracker nostalgia. Sweet, creamy and nostalgic, but well-balanced with the thick hot-whisked matcha.

We tried so many others too like Pulut Hitam Matcha, Jack N Jill’s Dewberry Sandwich Biscuit Hojicha and more, but sadly, they didn’t get chosen for the final menu.

We’re growing!!! See you soon westies (hopefully).

This is part of our Gotcha 2.0 rebranding that we’re so excited for. It’s been a solid year and we can’t wait to continue building this lil community with you.

What’s Coming in THE GOTCHA 2.0 REBRAND:

• a second store! (in the west?)
• our matcha powder + mini ‘DIY’ kits of your fav drinks like cookie butter
• a smaller menu (say goodbye to some of your favs)
• more meaningful, monthly curated drinks inspired by YOUR stories and fav memories growing up
• a fresh new look featuring our team’s handwriting
