As Black parents in #CDMX who were intentional about making sure our son understands his Blackness, being able to be at the 20th annual #FestivalDelTambor was important to us. He loved it and didn’t want to leave when it was time. Today was day 1 but you can definitely catch all the excitement again tomorrow. by @gotoutgotin

We left #CDMX a couple weeks ago for a much needed trip back home to #Durham, #NorthCarolina. While we were busy running around on the weekends, weekdays were pretty chill (with the caveat that we have to pass a 5-year-old back and forth between doing our work). by @gotoutgotin

Yesterday was pretty fly. From the gym to the doctor’s office to the movies, an average Spring day in #Polanco can be whatever you make it. #CDMX

Do you really need to learn Spanish to live in Mexico? The answer seems obvious, but we get asked this question a lot!

In this video we’re talking about learning Spanish and Desirée’s experience with @btgspanish where she partnered with them to try out their services for 3 months!

Sunday Funday in #CDMX. Shoutout to @themovecdmx for bringing @kevonstage to the city. (And huge shoutout to our babysitter for wearing the kid OUT.)

Spent most of today at @huruma.rest in #Satélite eating great #vegan food, drinking #coffee, and reading @chimamanda_adichie’s book of #Nigerian short stories and writing down thoughts that it evoked.
