GOT YOUR 6 APP 🤝 ATAK

We've been offering CoT (Cursor on Target) file export on Got Your 6 for almost a year now. This allows Rally Point data to be shared via ATAK with your entire mesh network.

Here's a tutorial video I did a while back explaining how it works.

Rally Point data can also be exported to a GPX file and imported into apps like Garmin, Suunto etc for navigating with standalone/offline GPS devices and watches. And we have a single click passthrough to OsMand as well.

It's all about YOU offering more solutions to fit YOUR group's needs.

ALL MY HOMIES LOVE LMG'S

For the past few months I've been testing the Red Right Hand LMG upper through its paces. I can't put into words how much I enjoy it.

Cody at @redrighthandllc sent me the upper, and we've been running it on a Super Safe lower. The EOTech EXPS from my Sionics 11.5 made it's way into it as well as my old school AAC 762-SD. This rifle ran its best with an H3 buffer.

Cody's videos have always impressed me in how consistently and smoothly his rifles cycle and running it for myself was that much better. I'm usually anti-AGB (just drill the gas sport smaller, silly) but the Riflespeed adjustable gas block has been extremely reliable and I hate to admit I've downright enjoyed it being on the rifle.

My favorite part by far, though, is the aluminum heatsink. I use aluminum as a heatsink all the time while welding thin material to prevent warping the material, so this concept instantly made sense to me. Not only does it cool the barrel, but I was able to dump through 5 or 6 mags and the Midwest quad rail was still plenty tolerable to handle, and that's while running suppressed. This heatsink works fantastically.

I think these uppers on a forced reset/SS lower are THE option to go with if you're a civilian who wants to bring SUT into your community preparedness model. Its also something you can buy just for fun, but the novelty of shooting fast WILL wear off if that's your only reason for buying it. So I think that it's best served for groups that train together and can group fund the ammo necessary to keep this thing fed.

MAKE YOUR OWN TARGET STANDS

Want to get good at welding? Start making your own target stands. It's a benign, risk free way to learn. It's not structural. Its not load bearing and it doesn't jeopardize safety.

You can go to any fab shop and ask for a foot of scrap 1x2 rec tubing and a 2x4 rec tubing and make a base that will work for a steel target or an IPSC cardboard target with furring strips or a 2x4.. Most of em will just give it to you the scrap For the base itself you can use angle iron, square tubing, rec tubing... Whatever you want. This doesn't have to cost a lot of money

You don't need a fancy Millermatic or a Dynasty machine. Any Harbor Freight welder and a basic chop saw will getter done. You can run solid wire (MIG) like I have shown. You can flux core if you don't want to buy/use shielding gas. You can even weld this with a super cheap AC only stick welder and 6011 ranch rod. Or you can TIG weld the whole thing if you've got the skill set and are fancy like that.

With anything in life, if you're going to do something, you might as well do a good job.

Go out and try this for yourself. Come up with your own ideas. Make it better than mine. Make it yours! by @gotyour6app
