The boring stuff…your mortality.

- This all started with wanting to have a manual for my home. If you’ve ever stayed at an Airbnb you’ve probably ran into something similar. I found this helpful and wanted to create one for myself.

- This manual would be an easy to understand yet thorough walkthrough for anyone caring for my home while I am away or even as reminders for my household. This manual could be used in several ways like how to connect to our wifi, neighbor contact info, local shutoffs, emergency services, what to do in specific situations like evacuations & what to take & where those items are located, etc.

- I bought the book Getting Things Done by David Allen to begin organizing, completing tasks, & staying on track. It’s been a helpful resource especially when paired with the workbook.

- As rabbit holes progress as they do I stumbled across @thenokbox . Having this stuff organized and prepared for next of kin is important. Setting up future generations for success is a constant thought.

- Experiencing death as an adult is much different than when I was younger. I mourned and that was it. I didn’t see what happened behind the scenes. Going through the dead’s possessions made me realize most of your stuff is going to be sold or thrown away, in my experiences at least. People get greedy & I want no part of it. I also don’t want to clutter my life with things I don’t truly need. Pictures & a few inexpensive items & I’m content.

“But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference; for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed, to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.”

- I gave in & got a fanny pack.

- I have the Patagonia Atom Sling Bag 8L & it had a holstered G19 with optic & light, plus all the medical supplies pictured & room for extra items. It’s been a great bag and I enjoy it for off body carry but I wanted a little extra room without getting a new bag.

- This Patagonia Terravia Mini Hip Pack is dedicated for medical supplies. It surprisingly had just enough space for this med kit. Time will tell if it stays this way.

“For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. For it is written: “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, And bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.””

In an effort to build out more actual community I want everyone to have a platform to promote themselves.
Producers hit the comments, let people know you are out there, even if you just sell out of a cooler on the road, there are a lot of people from all over the place who will see this and some may be nearby and happy to support you. If you know someone selling local in your area drop their account. Help people find people.

Everyone else, find local producers near you that you like and support them. You won’t get weird mystery meat beef from the little guy at the farmers market. Get food from people you can trust more than the giant meat packer plant.

Even if you just sell hay, let the people know. People want to buy from decent people.

Just because it looks clean doesn’t mean it is…

- I have a lot of water bottles (over 20). So it gets confusing on which ones are sterile especially when life gets busy and they get mixed together

- I use the shock solution off the Cana Water Data Cards to sterilize after the bottles are cleaned with soap and water

- I tried writing on the bottles themselves but I got lazy or busy and didn’t erase the writing and ended up not trusting that system

- I am trying out tamper/security seals. I like the idea of removing a seal before I use a new bottle

- You can buy actual seals or use tape like I did. Amazon had a roll of 100 for $12. I had tape and I’ll probably try out the actual seals eventually

“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”

You wanted affordable groceries and gas? You get unlimited spending, the selling off of public lands and WW3, unless you stand against it.
Don’t know what to do? At the very least start calling your representatives and put the pressure on

Happened to find this issue of Time today. Burning things down to stick it to the man has yet to work and not for a lack of trying.

A brief origin story of the Palantír. Scroll to the end for something uplifting.

Peter Thiel calls himself a nerd. If he is what he claims to be, then he knows the Palantíri have a dark story throughout the epic fantasy created by JRR Tolkien.

I do not own the clips. Just borrowing them for some flavor.
