LAST LONDON SHOW: October 1st at the Phoenix Arts Club! Get your ticket now, it’s going to be a great one featuring a Sondheim inspired cabaret afterwards.

A summoning tonight! Five-Star EdFringe hit Summoning Sondheim is a musical comedy séance, in which Grace O’Keefe (Best Newcomer Musical Comedy Awards ’24, owner of Sondheim’s tarot cards) and Jordana Belaiche (West End: Jane in Disney’s Mary Poppins, Little Cosette in Les Misérables) summon Stephen Sondheim to save musical theatre, and therefore, the world. After hit runs at the Edinburgh Fringe, Seven Dials Playhouse, and the Glitch, Summoning Sondheim is returning to London before it heads to 54 Below.

Co-written by Jordana and Grace with original music by Grace (plus an occasional Sondheim parody), and directed and developed by Bel Parker, the show is a vehicle for elevating new womxn voices in musical theatre while venerating Sondheim’s legacy. Each show features special guests and this special night at the Phoenix Arts Club will feature a cabaret following the show of songs written by emerging womxn Musical Theatre writers and Sondheim.

***** “With its perfect blend of silliness, heart, and musical theater worship, “Summoning Sondheim” is a must-see” –London Theatre Reviews

****** “Sondheim would love this show” -Tab in the City

**** “Very entertaining… very funny” -The Scotsman

**** “You are sure to be bewitched” – Broadway Baby

**** “It is genuinely inspirational to witness” -Musical Theatre Review

**** “outrageously funny” – Theatre & Tonic

**** “divinely inspired” -North West End taken in Phoenix Arts Club by @grace_o_keefe

The EP of @senseandsensibilitymusical is out today!

Link in my bio to listen to @beccaridout’s Up to Me, @thatdanielhall’s If You Will Have Me and me on Willoughby!

@thomasfarnold and @grace_o_keefe are stratospheric talents and working on this show has been nothing but a joy. It’s a huge privilege to be trusted to represent a show for the first time and I have been so lucky to have Marianne to myself for so long!

There was a point, years ago now, we needed an Elinor, and I said, ‘Do you want one of my real-life best friends?’ Cue @beccaridout’s perfect Elinor, and two years of her telling me off about my love life on stage AND off. 😉

Swipe through for the journey! 🎀 by @grace_o_keefe

THE EP OF SENSE & SENSIBILITY IS OUT NOW 🎀 I have loved being a part of the development of this beautiful musical and I’m thrilled more people will get to hear (some of) it through this EP. I used to get out CDs from a library to trawl through new musicals but now it’s streaming, free, on Spotify (LINK IN BIO, DUH).

I am particularly proud of @thatdanielhall’s stunning ‘If You Will Have Me’- I’ve cried so many times listening to him sing that song - and @lottieclitherow’s perfect ‘Willoughby’ - you’ll swoon at the lyrics and her Marianne equally.

Then of course there’s the combined genius of @thomasfarnold & @grace_o_keefe who have created such a wonderful show. I don’t have the right superlatives.

You’ll just have to listen to the EP and watch this space on @senseandsensibilitymusical for the future of this show whilst I fondly recall when I got to play Elinor Dashwood 🤍 by @grace_o_keefe

She had some similar advice to us at DatingBurgh, keep your options open, no sex till the 3 or 4th date and adding a new one 😅 no 🍆 picks 😜
