Friday, April 26th was a special day out at Newsom Vineyards with TWGGA!
I had the honor of receiving the Hoss Newsom Viticultural Scholarship(second year in a row!) 🏆🍇 — feeling incredibly grateful for the recognition and support toward my journey in the Texas wine industry.
I was also proud to represent the Texas Tech Viticulture & Enology undergrad program and Raiders Uncorked! ✨🔴⚫️
I loved making new industry connections 🤝 and reconnecting with old friends. Truly a day I’ll never forget!

School, work, and wine… lately it’s been all three—and I wouldn’t have it any other way! 🥂🍷🍇

With the semester almost done (can you believe it?!), I’ve been reflecting on everything that’s kept my cup full lately—
From helping lead fundraising and donation efforts with Raiders Uncorked at Lubbock Uncorked, to wrapping up my last in-person lab and lecture for wine analysis (and officially falling in love with wine chemistry), it’s been a wild, wine-filled ride.

As President of Raiders Uncorked, I’ve been hard at work scheduling winery tours, planning tasting classes, and coordinating lectures to keep our members engaged and excited.
And at Llano Estacado Winery, I’m heading into year 3 of pouring in the tasting room and sharing my passion for Texas wine with guests from all over.

It’s a full glass—but I’m savoring every drop.

First lab day in Winemaking Quality Control & Analysis ✅ Turns out, I actually enjoy chemistry… as long as it’s wine-related! 🍷🔬 From Brix and titrations to pH and alcohol by ebulliometry, I had a blast diving into the science behind the glass. Maybe a future in the lab? 👀 Can’t wait to learn more!

Pouring up knowledge & good vibes at Llano Estacado Winery!✨🍷 Today, I got to help with a Galentine’s Wine & Chocolate Pairing Demo, and let me tell you—this was my kind of workday!💁‍♀️ Nothing better than sharing my passion, geeking out over pairings, and laughing with some incredible people.

Huge shoutout to my mentor Matt Bostick for always pushing me to step up & believe in myself!💖 Also, take a sip every time I talk with my hands—y’all might not make it to the end of the night!😂🍷

I look forward to more experiences in the future! 🍷

🥂 Cheers 🥂
