Sunday, October 12th, was easily the most magical day of our lives.
-
I have no words to fully describe it other than that this moment exceeded every hope, every dream, every wish, every written entry and every prayer a heart could hold. I have desperately hoped for a love like this all my life. And now it’s officially ours forever. It always has been. And I am so grateful at the end of every petal lined aisle, standing there will always be Brett.

Joy is every moment together, sealed with confidence and confirmation. Every day I find another reason to love him more. He truly cherishes, cares for and considers me in everything. The life we have together feels like the sunniest side of heaven on earth. I would redo every single “no” from past heartbreak and each mile of long distance to lead us to this wholehearted and teary-eyed “yes.” This love is so sweet, so special, so gentle. So clear.

Brett Thornburg…my love, my best friend, and now my FIANCÉ!!! There are so many words and not enough time to say them here but I thank the stars above for aligning us together to voice them to each other through the years. My handsome, gentle, kind, patient, silly, and compassionate confidant, I cannot wait to walk through life with you as husband and wife. You are my favorite everything. I love you so much and I cannot wait to laugh with you forever! 🤍

2025 was such a special year to me.
-
I got engaged to my best friend and created so many memories with him. There was so much confirmation within the last 365. I felt so. much. peace. among time with friends, took so many photos, consumed so much new media and caffeine, laughed, cried, said no to say yes, and proved to myself that I can do it over and over. I developed a deeper appreciation for community and the need for hope, started consistently going to therapy again, experienced my Saturn’s return, saw my favorite artist live, starting collaging, went kayaking, cooked new meals, ran a few handfuls of miles, and became so intentional with observing the things that make me excited among the mundane.

Transparently, I get incredibly anxious on New Year’s Eve every. single. year. Change is something that sparks my curiosity while simultaneously tossing gasoline on my OCD driven thoughts. However, the one thing I’ve really learned this year is that everything is okay, will be okay, and remains intentional. You cannot miss out on what’s made for you and your next chapters are already written. It’s a beautiful life when we all have each other and things that remind us that we’re growing and moving forward.
