Meet Lolli & her pups Blackie, Cowhuahua the Cowgirl, and Brownie (temp names). Lolli (formerly Lola bc we are leaving her past behind) is severely malnourished (looks like a lollipop, hence Lolli bc it’s cute & sweet), wouldn’t nurse her babies who are a little over 2 wks old & teeny tiny for 2 wks. We were told that she had no interest in them at all and the babies would have to be bottle fed 🤨. IMO, due to Lolli not possibly getting fed at all & receiving proper nutrition, she wasn’t producing enough milk to nurse her babies. Like I said, we’re leaving the past behind, and as soon as I got them home I made her a proper meal of ground turkey & veggies, fed her often, and got the babies to nurse w/in a few hrs. She absolutely has interest in her babies, she just deserved better care, which makes me grateful they were all surrendered to receive the best care that SBM provides. And the rest is future! 🤗 by @gracekoy

Adopt Don’t Shop! Say hello to Hazel, my new furry foster! She's a timid cutie who's already stolen hearts. Rescued from a hoarding situation with 25+ other dogs, she's possibly pregnant, which means her adoption will be delayed. A home with a small dog(s) would suit her perfectly. by @gracekoy

Our Bao Bao boy is celebrating his 7th birthday today!! His eyes plead for treats, pets, and more treats, but his energy is infectious joy 🤗. We're thrilled with his remarkable weight loss transformation, shedding the pounds to reveal his new svelte figure. Their time with us is short and should never be taken for granted. We will always be grateful for the laughter, love, and adventure our pups bring into our lives. I almost forgot to thank the wonderful and amazing rescue @small_but_mighty_dog_rescue for bringing Bao into our lives. If it wasn’t for their dedication and the hard work that they do, so many animals wouldn’t get saved. Please adopt and don’t shop, it’s not just mixed breeds at rescues, there are so many pure breeds out there too, you just have to look! Please adopt from rescues! 🙏🏼 by @gracekoy

FINN IS MISSING!! Please repost! 🙏🏼

Finn was sent to a dog “trainer”, Jarod William Hutton with Dog Gone Good K-9 Training (he’s not good at anything other than lying) Jarod has ghosted and blocked Finn’s owners and refuses to return him or tell them where he is. He’s been arrested for larceny of a pet and is set to go to court soon. Jarod brought Finn to a party back in April, and that was the last time Finn was seen in public. If anyone has seen Finn please message me!! by @gracekoy

Why I started fostering…2024 brought a lot of pain and stress, with my mother being hospitalized and having to care for her along with Mochi’s condition, then losing Mochi 💔, to finding out our little Mabel was abandoned and abused by her “trainer” that we hired, his name is Jarrod Hutton 🤬 (I’ll post more on him in a later post). I gave a big FU to 2024 and decided to foster. My first year fostering couldn’t have been better 🤗. This year taught me to have more patience and compassion for all four-legged furry bodied babies and I wouldn’t change a thing! Ok, maybe the time I lost Gus Gus on day 1 🤦🏻‍♀️, but that’s it! Fostering is extremely rewarding, it’s been said to bring good karma so everyone should do it! Thanks to all the rescues in the world, especially @small_but_mighty_dog_rescue and @pawfectmatch 🤗
