Reposted caption bc i couldn’t say it any better @hedhistudio 🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼

Reverie by @arthurbros was another high point for Hed Hi Studio. #itwasalladream

Arthur’s return to #Charleston was a bustling and lively celebration of his creative vision and spirit. Inspired by a reoccurring dream, his abstract and colorful works stitched a common theme that popped off the walls #inthestudio.

A huge thank you to @dalia_explains_it_all (and @mummbls ) for the music. Thank you @technicalevent for always supporting our shows. Thanks to @juliadeckmanstudio and @kewe.is.missing for tending the #nobaddays bar. Thanks to @ayokalu for bringing us all together years ago!!

And finally, a huge thank you to our #charlestonarts community for continuing to show up and support this gallery experiment. It’s a real treat to curate #thebrightestwalls #inthecity and welcome everyone in.

Reverie will be up for another week or so. Shoot a note if you want to schedule a time to check it out!

…..
Also, thanks so much for all the support from dear charleston & NC friends and my lady @gracekoy for helping out.

This past weekend the exhibition honoring frontline workers at @brooklyncollectiveclt opened with @charlesedwill84, @arthurbros , @karlasosaart , @blakeleeferguson , @andreveloux and more. We enjoyed the twinkly outdoor patio at The Poplar House afterward.

It runs through June 30, so stay tuned for more events!

❤️😷 50% of proceeds will go to front line charities.

My piece, “The Line”, acrylic on canvas, 12” x 12”, is about my experience with the pharmacist at the drugstore drive-through window, his calm voice giving me instructions as I took the Covid test...I could see the compassion in his eyes peering over the mask. I thought about the constant interaction, monotony and the risk he must face every day, and it filled me with appreciation.
