Meet @gracielasann at MOVIMIENTO, next Wed, 26 Aug at @section8melbourne

A passionate music collector, Gracie is drawn to sounds that create vivid visuals in her mind. Her selections explore Brazilian, Caribbean, Latin and funk, reflecting her Brazilian and Chilean roots.

If you’ve caught any of the nights that have been quietly reshaping Melbourne’s underground, somewhere on Bourke Street, an intersection of rhythm and drive, tempo shifting from sunbaked to sweat-soaked.... this one already has your name on it.

Greaze Mode brings its multi-platform event series upstairs to Angel Music Bar for seven hours of house, disco and techno. Three selectors. Seven hours. One room.

@gracielasann moves through latin jazz, samba and disco like a conversation that keeps getting more interesting. Brazilian roots, dancefloor instinct, and a warmth that fills the room.

@ladyc4d needs no introduction to Melbourne dancefloors. House, disco and techno channelled through one of the city’s most trusted ears. Mentor to many, genius to others, dancefloor control every other moment.

@thee.magnus channels the Greaze, a fusion of Afro influences, UK bass and MPC-laced pressure. Sure to take you on a sonic journey with deep grooves, heavy swing and percussive flow.

This Sunday in collaboration with @runnerup.rooftop me and @gracielasann are bringing a bit of the Brazilian Festa Junina to Collingwood Yards.

Festa Junina is midwinter harvest celebration and we want to bring a little idea of this vibrant time thru music.

Music styles will be the usual but a little focus in Northeast rhythms such as Forró, Xaxado, Balão and others.

@runnerup.rooftop incredible bar stuff will be bringing Caipirinha specials for our night too.

Bora! ☺️🪗✨🎶
