Quick update then back to sleep...

Nearly halfway there on gofundme 🙏🏾
If anyone else would like to help me with this year's brain trauma drama, swing me a message x

The bad news... my symptoms are not severe enough for a bulk billed referral for an MRI

The good news... my symptoms are not severe enough for a bulk billed referral for an MRI

Determined to not let this one fuck my shit up for any longer than necessary. Will get that MRI asap regardless of the cost this time #health #priceless I am still napping a LOT - I reckon the balance will shift back to normal tomorrow or Friday. Then I can have a little mix YAY!

Photo 1 - this was taken a few hours before I was whacked HARD in the back of the head at a venue on Chapel last year. I remember little of that day but that incident added much stress and trauma to an already stressful year.

However, in keeping with my newly internalised mantra...

Happiness is an inside job; I take ownership of mine.

Life is going to throw you challenges; try to navigate them as best you can. You can only do so much, try not to let anything you cannot control bug you out. Take what lessons you can from unpleasant experiences, people and events, do your best to resolve any issues, and then for the sake of your mental health and wellbeing, forgive everyone involved - including yourself - and let it all go.

Trying to find my zen is more challenging than holding on to bitterness and anger imho so it is #fuckingworthit.

Photo 2. Five mins before I grabbed my phone to capture these amazing leaves in the wind, I was lying on my bed mulling over a group of people from a past life. So many amazing memories. They were my family for a long time. And somehow, now, they aren't. My window is behind me above my head - I was idly gazing up and backwards when a huge gust of wind swooshed through these gorgeous fire-y trees; it was at that same moment that I released all of the hurt and sadness to the universe.

And again, set myself free.

I keep thinking I'm done, yo... really, we are never done learning new lessons.

What hasn't killed me has surely made me stronger
