The FDA has warned about serious side effects of the drug Librela, which killed my Gracie after only one injection. I hope this is a first step towards removing the drug so more dogs are not harmed.

Please do your research if considering this drug for your dog. More information is coming out about the terrible side effects that are being shared by other dog owners and some vets.

It has been 2 months since my beloved Gracie passed away on April 16, 2024, 54 days after receiving a shot of Librela recommended by her vet to treat osteoarthritis. Gracie was only 10 years old. Gracie suffered a seizure, ataxia, excessive drinking, high globulins, anemia and finally wouldn't eat. No medication could save her. I found 2 groups on Facebook after she received the injection. Had I found these groups before, I never would have allowed her to receive Librela. Dog Owners post similar issues as Gracie- thousands of dogs have passed away. I have opened an adverse event case with Zoetis and the FDA. We Need to hold the manufacturer Zoetis accountable as well as the FDA, who approved the drug for humans then rescinded it but left it available for dogs. The groups on FB are "Librela Experiences" and "Librela Class Action and Support". I urge you to research these groups if you are at all considering this drug for your dog. See the link in my bio for a petition to recall Librela until further testing is done. Missing you today - Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day - and every day my beloved Gracie. You are always in my heart and by my side. Gone too soon. I will never stop fighting to get justice for you and so many others harmed by Librela. 💔🌈 #sayNoToLibrela #rainbowbridge @zoetispetcare #beavoiceforthevoiceless #adoptdontshop #puglove taken in 𝓗𝓮𝓪𝓿𝓮𝓷. by @graciepug1
