We’ve just added a misugaru latte to our menu. This Korean drink, made from powdered whole grains and soybeans, has a toasty, malted flavour that pairs especially well with a breakfast baked good.

Our new hemp seed and oat porridge makes the most of British quince season while nodding to our Aussie roots with a pat of butter, in place of the usual drizzle of cold cream. It’s finished with a dollop of red bean paste, inspired by Japanese pastries.

It’s a little bit sweet, a little bit savoury, and perfect for chilly autumn mornings.

In 2002, the @nytimes journalist R.W. Apple Jr. described our scrambled eggs as having “a soft, mousse-like texture, with unusually large curds.”

That satisfying texture is a result of the unique method and dairy-to-egg ratio perfected by our late founder, Bill Granger.

We serve our eggs with two thick buttered slices of @thedustyknuckle sourdough.
