Just sitting on the train home thinking about last night…

Winning at the National Finals of the L’Oréal Colour Trophy, celebrating its 70th year at the O2 Arena in London, is just… wow.

My kids asked me to bring them home a trophy… so I fucking did. 🏆 💚 💜

I had the privilege of working with an outstanding model from the very beginning of this journey. He’s only 17 and had a bright career ahead of him. From the early stages, to winning the semi-finals, and now bringing home the Scotland trophy, it’s been incredible to watch the vision come to life. Thank you for trusting me.

Being surrounded by so much talent and artistry last night was honestly inspiring. Fashion, hair, beauty, storytelling and creativity are where I feel most alive. It’s where I thrive.

I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who’s helped me get to this point and inspired me along the way. To my amazing wife and family for always believing in me, and to my incredible team—you make all of this possible. I’m so lucky to have you all.

Thank you to L’Oréal for putting on an unforgettable show, and congratulations to every finalist and winner. The standard of work in that room was unreal. Special thanks to the judges also.

VIP grooming in Glasgow.

Always a pleasure looking after visiting talent ahead of their appearances here in Scotland.

From skin prep and a facial through to hair styling and those final finishing touches, it’s all about making sure my clients look and feel their best before heading out.

After 20 years in the industry, it’s still pretty special to be trusted with these moments and the people who sit in my chair.

ARCH ANGELS. Published in @hairdressersjournal

Really proud to see my latest collection, ARCH ANGELS, featured in the October issue of @hairdressersjournal.

For me, this collection was about pushing boundaries creatively, exploring texture, movement, colour and shape to create something a little different.

After 20 years in the industry, having the freedom to step away from the everyday and create work like this is still one of the things I love most.

Professional grooming shouldn’t end when you leave the chair.

I’ve partnered with @manscaped , putting some of their latest grooming tools to the test.

For me, great men’s grooming has always been about the complete picture. What we create in the chair is one part of it, but how my VIPs maintain their look at home between appointments is just as important.

That’s why I’m always looking for products and tools I can genuinely recommend to clients for their own kit, from beard maintenance and clean ups to those smaller details that make all the difference.

I’ll be trying these properly over the next few weeks and sharing the ones that earn a permanent place in my kit, and potentially yours.

Grant was judging this year as well as presenting. Grants is known for his skills in many areas including holding the title of @lorealpro Scottish regional colourist!

NTA READY

A little behind the scenes getting myself ready before heading into the Star Treatment area at the National Television Awards with the ELEVEN Australia team.

For my hair, I used ELEVEN Australia pomade to add texture and definition, hairspray to lock everything in place, then finished with a little Toppik hair powder for extra density.

Quick, easy and ready for a full day getting the VIPs red carpet ready.
