2015 ➡️ 2026.

The first picture was taken back when I was a senior in high school after a pre-draft workout. Back then, all I wanted was the chance to play baseball at the highest level.

I grew up a Tigers fan, and @justinverlander was a huge reason I fell in love with pitching. Watching him compete inspired me to chase that dream.

Standing on the same field with him today, getting to talk for a few minutes and getting another photo was a really special full-circle moment for me and something I’ll never forget.

I’m grateful for the players who inspired me, the people who believed in me along the way, and for how faithful God has been through every step of it.

The kid in that first picture could’ve never imagined the second one. Thankful and blessed. taken in Detroit Tigers- Comerica Park by @grantwolfram
