This Wednesday, Thomas and David from @graventattoo and @tavernoflostsouls had the pleasure of visiting one of the world’s absolute finest meaderies, @mjodgard - and one of our suppliers of premium quality mead.What started as a visit quickly turned into hours of inspiring conversations about the history of mead, how we can help present it to a wider audience, and which outdated misconceptions we need to leave behind so this remarkable drink can receive the respect it truly deserves.Mead is far more than a footnote in the history books. It’s a living craft, constantly evolving, and it was incredible to witness the passion that Thomas Priiskorn, owner of Mjødgård, brings to that journey. Blackwork Convention 2026 - The Gathering DaysFirst of all, a colossal shoutout to @royalbeerdk , @anarkistbrewing , and @fernetbrancadanmark for sponsoring one hell of a boat party. You helped us push this gathering to new heights, and for that, we are more than grateful.A little over a month ago, we closed the doors, chained the coffin shut, and laid Blackwork Convention 2026 to rest - only so it can rise again for next year’s obliteration. Yet the memories still leave us with a shit-eating grin on our faces. It has been an absolute pleasure opening the doors to our little dungeon and watching it fill with good people, old friends, and new faces from all corners of the scene.A MASSIVE thank you also goes to Quest Master @lordgordith and Rotten Orc @ardengufffff for making our very first in-house concert a reality. We might be biased, but the intimacy, atmosphere, and full on talent made it one of the best shows we’ve ever witnessed…. The neighbors might disagree though….Thank you, Lord Gordith and Rotten Orc, for bringing the music, the energy, and the good vibes. Hi folks 🖤As many of you have probably noticed, my online presence hasn’t exactly been at its peak over the past many months. In short: life demanded a complete pause. There was a need to clean up habits, health, routines, and relationships — all things we can talk about someday when we meet ✌️. For now, I’ll keep it short.After all, it’s always better to announce a comeback than a downfall.It’s starting to feel like a new chapter in my life. New tools, more calm, fewer fvcks given to people who don’t want the best for me — and a greater focus on myself, the people close to me, and of course the shop I’ve become a proud co-owner of! Namely of @Graventattoo 🔥Going forward, this page will be more personal, focusing on life and everything that surrounds it.With that said, I’ll slowly start picking up the needle again sometime in February.
