honestly I had mixed feelings on if I wanted to post this or not because I honestly did not have a lot of fun in this event and I was pretty disappointed in myself. I will say even with the injuries I think I managed to pull something good out BUT I was not satisfied with this at for reasons including my own comfortability. overall, the korean battle scene is not for me but I'm still really thankful for all the things I've learned!

(when I walked back it was bc the other dancers disappeared early but I realized time was not up yet so I went back lmao) by @graycelois

Feast of Harvest @ GDC!

Never have I thought that I would end up doing a freestyle to a worship song in a church but here I am now! It's pretty rare that I see performances to Christian songs these days especially in freestyle so I had a ton of fun and felt so blessed performing. I've always felt that freestyle dance is an underrated part of worship do I was very grateful that Beth trusted my vision in this!

Had to splice together a few videos here because of some angle or part cutoff but wanted to share :)

Thank you @karenkim0118 & @amellowmango for filming and thank you as always GDC <3

Fourth battl! Entered the open styles battle by @fetch_sunday & @flowmaker.korea this time and had a blast! extremely intimidating but amazing dancers and I'd like to say that my comfort is definitely open styles. I continuously get songs I don't know and once again I went 🤷‍♀️ but this time I'd say satisfaction levels are a 7/10 because I didn't put too much pressure on myself and had fun! also got to meet the darling @hiitaliaaa today <3

THIRD BATTLE AS A WAACKING DANCER, this time with @wannabe_battle VOL.1 !

Words cannot describe how breathtaking this event was and we screamed our heart out watching it 😭 one of my weaknesses is songs without lyrics and I don't think I've ever heart this song before so it was a struggle 😭 again a 6.5 in terms of satisfaction hOWEVER I learned so much! Also definitely the most fun event I've been in I ADORE disco battles now hehe.

Literally every dancer took my breath away and one element in disco battles I've discovered is the element of fun within the battle itself. Can't wait for more battles and this was insanely fun 😭

Thank you to the lovely judges @ola.way_ & @rotiaaa_ and the entire WANNABE BATTLE team! Also. The DJ was absolutely magical.

Thank you to my besties @abigailannecami & @allster who came to cheer for me my heart is full 🫶🏽🫶🏽

PRELIM ROUND and officially at 1.5 years since officially starting waacking training! My second big battle with waacking and probably my biggest event I've ever done! Prolly about 650+ dancers, @feelthefunk_korea is so international it was intimidating.

Honestly I wasn't satisfied with my round because I totally got too in my head and panicked :( satisfaction is about 6.5/10 BUT I'm happy for the experience because it was insane. Might have been my fave battle event ever (close tie with OFTC 2024 oops) but can't wait to dance more and improve 🥹 we can only go up from here!

FIRST BATTLE OUTSIDE MY STUDIO with @gamechanger_official_kr !

Such a fun but also scary experience haha but it lit the fire of battles within me 🫡 1 year and 5 months since training waacking here and it's been a wild ride but now I'm more ready than ever to dip my toes back into battles because I've missed it so much! Might have had my shoulder fully taped up and on painkillers but we stayed safe and healthy hehe.

Thank you @annyeongchoi for getting this lil vid and for coming to support 💖💖 by @graycelois

Contemporary Improvisation~

Had ten mins after drills and praccy to go back to my greatest love ♡ I miss contemp so much and it made me so happy I had to post hehe. I'm super rusty and you can tell I'm mixing in other styles (cough waacking cough) but heres a video of me improvising! the song was really difficult so it was a good practice in listening :) taken in 세종 올스타즈 댄스학원 - Allstarz Dance Studio by @graycelois

vietnam: the eats

too much food, not enough space! she's trying out some new layouts (still a little lazy with the editing) and finally posting everything that's been clogged up from the trips! such a blessing to have gone on this trip with these girlies 💓💓💓
