EDIT. I didn't realize my copy didn't post with the pics. First picture was Nov 2017 with Brian Pearson longtime friend of ours who let everyone know on that trip he had stage 4 cancer. Certainly took the air out of the trip... he passed away on June 23, 2018. It has been 8 years since his passing and we still get together yearly to go fishing and celebrate all the great things in life. Well, we picked a great week to escape the weather at home!! Did a fishing charter a few days into our vacation and was able to cross a few species off my list! Going into the charter we were thinking if we see whales and catch no fish, thats still a win. Saw whales in the first hour and then were on the fish!! Largest were 25lb mahi mahi (2 of them that size) 2 smaller ones about 10 lbs each. 2 skipjack tuna (10 lbs and 3 lbs) and a yellowfin tuna about 15 lbs. Had some of our fresh catch at George's Restaurant steps away from the Marina-can't get any fresher than that!!! taken in San Jose Del Cabo, Mexico. by @graydonlau

We love a destination brewery here at BAOS, and one Ontario space had been generating a ton of praise, to the point where we had to get them on the pod. Located a little over an hour north of Toronto in Oro-Medonte, ON, Quayle’s have been quietly delivering phenomenal beer, a legit sense of community and impeccable vibes since 2020. Co-Founders Graydon (@graydonlau) and Catherine, and Head Brewer Scott (@brewhanna), joined @getitinyacee on the pod to chat about their unique story of loss and strength through adversity, how they’ve used their 87 acres to create a memorable experience for their guests, the approach to their beers and food program, why leaning into local ingredients is key for them, why they always keep new and fresh beer on tap, how Scott’s Aussie roots influence the beer, and the whole process of being hop farmers. They got into nine (yes, 9!) killer Quayle’s brews: Line 12 Helles Lager, Right Bauer German-style Pilsner, Quayle’s Gold Mid-Strength Lager, Keller Door Oktoberfest Lager, Hayloft Hoppy Saison, Grinch Vs Scrooge Hazy IPA, Salted Caramel Ripple Ice Cream Stout, Last Tree On The Lot Bière De Noël, and Big Chute West Coast IPA. About last weekend....

Met up with some former Bacardi colleagues this weekend. Hard to believe it was 30 years ago when we met! Impromptu but great for a quick catch-up! Also had my last smashburger of the 2025 season... I'm counting down the days until we fire up the grill in 2026!! Couldn't resist having a pic with the big guy even though I'm not on the Nice list..... by @graydonlau
