Yesterday my life flashed before my eyes. Not because I was about to die, but because I was about to live. Becoming a State Officer has been a dream of mine for at least 3 years and yesterday it became a reality. Maryland FFA, I am honored and excited to spend this next year serving as State Vice President and alongside the best team I could possibly ask for. by @graysonsteer

9 years, over 20 concerts, so much money in reeds, and countless memories later, my time in concert band has come to an end.

In 4th grade, I passed up the opportunity to join band and play an instrument in the fall. I realized the huge mistake a semester later and decided I was going to play the trumpet but as it turned out, we already owned an alto so I got stuck with that. I am so glad I took the opportunity to make some noise and try something new because I have learned so much, made so many unforgettable memories, and met so many amazing friends.

Last night was the culmination of a huge part of the last 9 years of my life, and I couldn't have asked for better people to celebrate with. by @graysonsteer

"I now declare this meeting adjourned."

What a year. I am so honored to have spent the last 4 years in FFA, 3 of them as an officer, and this past year as the North Harford FFA Chapter President. The opportunities I've been afforded, the passion I've found, and the wonderful members and supporters I've worked with are what makes this organization so truly special. Last night was my last chapter banquet as a high school member, and I couldn't have asked for better people to spend it with. I am looking forward to where this journey in the jacket takes me next, and I am so incredibly grateful for the community and direction it has given me so far.

Thank you to every single person that has helped me grow as a leader and agriculturalist throughout these past 4 years.

Just like that, 4 years of marching band have passed me by. From barely being able to stay in time to being a section leader in the first NH ensemble to go to states in a very long time, it's hard to believe I'll never step foot on the field with my instrument again. It has been a great 4 years, thank you to everyone who has made it awesome, from the seniors my freshman year to the freshmen my senior year, I love y'all. by @graysonsteer

This summer so far.

6 weeks and I only fell off a horse twice

Featuring Scooter (my fav), Blaze (the menace that bucked me off and then ran away while I was getting on), Sue (only tried to kick me 3 times), Norman, Firecracker, Hector, Lola, and Dusty (silly lil donkeys), and the rest of the herd. taken in D-Bar-A Scout Ranch by @graysonsteer

Signing in as your 2025-2026 North Harford FFA President!!!

With another great year behind me, and another year to come, I got to spend the evening celebrating everyone's achievements, retire as sentinel, and be installed as president.

I am looking forward to working with these amazing people I get to call teammates and am going to seize this opportunity of a lifetime. by @graysonsteer

Yall- Words cannot even express how I have felt this week. I am so grateful that I took that small step outside my comfort zone to audition because it has led to a lifetime of friendship and an increased love for both music and FFA.

Thank you to everyone who made this week what it was, including everyone involved in setting up and putting on convention, national officers, band directors and chaperones, the people at Steak and Shake, Beyonce, and especially my friends.

If you EVER want to do something but think it is maybe a bit far out of your reach or comfort zone or are too nervous, do it. Never turn down opportunities because you don't believe in yourself.

With over 66 miles, 3 days at base, 11 days on trail, 4 days on trains, 50 pounds of backpack, 1 sprained ankle, and an amazing trip under my feet, I can definitely say that is the hardest but coolest thing I have ever done.

Philmont, I'm coming back. (hopefully)

Ireland: the land of Craic!

I am so grateful for the opportunity to take this trip! This summer has been the time of opportunity and new things, and this trip is no different. I stepped far out of my comfort zone by jumping off the high dive into freezing cold water, and trying oysters (ew). I had so much fun and hope that the cows and dogs that followed me did too. Thank you to everyone that made this trip possible!
