2026 State Officer Summit

State Officer Summit ‘26

This week I was blessed to meet State Officers from around the country: leaders who believe in the future of agriculture and our youth.

We advocated for support of agriculture education on Capitol Hill, toured Washington D.C, and made memories that will last a lifetime.

To the 2026-2027 State Officers: each and every one of you are so incredibly special. Thank you for every handshake, every conversation, and for your service to our organization. I can’t wait to witness all of you serve your states with pride! 💙⭐️

National FFA State Officer Summit ✅️

This week, Maryland FFA took on Washington D.C! We learned how to effectively advocate for agriculture and FFA. We had 3 legislative visits with representatives for @sen_alsobrooks, @chrisvanhollen, and @amcclaindelaney with the goal of assisting in the understanding the importance of FFA and Career and Technical Education! I cannot extend enough gratuity for these visits. Thank you!

Also, my team and I were able to discover our nation's capital; Holocaust Memorial Museum, Washington Monument, World War II Memorial, and the Vietnam War Memorial, each reminding us the sacrifices made for our freedom. Thank you!

To my fellow State Officers, thank you for an amazing week! Together, we were able to learn how to speak up for our passions, hear inspiring message from multiple advocates, and truly spread the word of FFA. I can not wait to see all of you again at the 99th National FFA Convention and Expo!

One year ago, I got the opportunity to serve as your Maryland FFA State Vice President. Now, I leave this role with a heart full of gratitude.

To the Maryland FFA Association, thank you for trusting me with the privilege of serving you. Thank you for every handshake, every conversation, every chapter visit, every laugh, and every memory. You welcomed me into your communities, challenged me to grow, and reminded me every day why this organization is so special.

To our members, thank you for being the reason behind every mile traveled and every early morning. Your passion, resilience, and willingness to lead have inspired me more than you’ll ever know. Watching you discover your confidence, find your purpose, and realize your potential has been the greatest honor of my year.

Maryland FFA has given me far more than I could ever give back. It has shaped me into a stronger leader, a better communicator, and, most importantly, a better person. While my blue jacket may look a little different now, the lessons, friendships, and memories I carry with me will last a lifetime.

As one chapter closes, I know the story of Maryland FFA continues to be written by each of you. Keep leading with courage, serving with humility, and believing in the impact you can make.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for allowing me to serve you. It has been the honor of a lifetime!🫶🏼

Maryland FFA Convention 2026 ✅️

State Convention was a HUGE success! Grateful is an understatement to explain how I am feeling to serve as the 2026-2027 State Reporter 🇺🇸.
