I’ve been thinking about how to really showcase the amazing things some of the most creative people I know are doing. That led me to this new series—something that not only gives them their flowers but also puts a spotlight on their craft and the businesses they’re building, with a unique twist.

I’m tapping in with creators/entrepreneurs, asking them questions about their process, what drives them, and how they see the world. It’s all about giving the audience an inside look—through mini written interviews—into how these individuals think and why they do what they do.

And we’re back with another exclusive interview!

This time, we caught up with @relcarter to get a deeper understanding of who he is as a family man, entrepreneur, and creative. He shared insights into his mission to support independent artists, his dedication to being a voice for the underdog, and his commitment to being the example his sons can look up to.

@relcarter spoke about how he’s been able to carve out his own identity:

“I don’t believe in handouts, and I want people to respect me as Rel Carter. The only way to do that is to show them my worth and what I bring to the table.”

From the Art of Music Tour to his work with Hustlers Guild and other ventures, nearly everything @relcarter is involved with is fueled by a passion for helping others or a desire to create meaningful opportunities.

“Believe in what you’re doing — if you don’t, nobody else will. And have fun with it.”

WE’RE OFFICIALLY BACK!!! 🔥🔥🔥 and we got the chance to link up with @roberto_rosa3rd and dive into his creative mind as a poet, photographer, and educator.

We asked Rob where most of his inspiration begins in his creative process. For example, his poem “Dreams Kill Kings,” inspired by MLK. He explained, “Referring to MLK having a dream and how it ultimately cost him his life—similar to us having dreams worth fighting for that might also become dreams worth dying for.”

@roberto_rosa3rd also touched on how picking up photography to support his family at a football game turned into capturing special moments for the Hoboken High School football team.

Most importantly, we asked Rob how fatherhood has shaped his perspective on life and his art. He shared, “They (his children) inspire me constantly—they remind me why creativity matters and why it’s important to keep chasing your passions while being present for the people you love.”

Although we’re only scratching the surface of who Rob is and all that he does, we’re honored to have him show us what makes him more than just a creative—someone who truly captures the moments that make up life. by @greaterthanent

We caught up with photographer @shotwithcharisma to get a peek inside her creative world and what really fuels her behind the lens. Her series “Warriors in the Garden” captures a twist on presenting men with flowers, storytelling, and the quiet strength of her subjects in a way that feels so real.

When asked where her inspiration comes from—other photographers or life itself—she kept it real:

“I’m inspired by the storytelling of it all. I follow some really dope female photographers, and I love how they’re always pushing the envelope for women in such a male-dominated field.”

We also talked about how she chooses the right shots for her clients (and how those pre-shoot jitters still hit sometimes 👀).

“I look at inspo and make sure I take notes so I don’t forget specific poses or angles I want to get. On the day of the shoot, I say a little prayer that I get the right shots and that both the client and I are happy.”

With her family cheering her on—especially her son, who’s quick to share his opinions— @shotwithcharisma keeps growing in both confidence and creativity. She’s proud of what she’s built and stands firm behind her vision.

We sat down with @natashaluccia , founder of @lafinquitanj , to explore how her farm came to life and the moment she discovered her passion for farming.

Balancing the responsibilities of farming with her personal life is no small task. Natasha explained, “Honestly, I treat farming like any other operation — with systems, schedules, and measurable outcomes.”

When asked if there was a moment that felt especially meaningful or rewarding in her journey, she reflected, “Farming taught me how to nourish both the soil and myself, and that has been the most rewarding transformation.”

We caught up with @iamjusticelaquan of @kreateakustom to talk about how he first got into embroidery and how one opportunity unexpectedly opened the door to another creative path.

We also discussed his process when creating custom pieces for clients. “I always keep in mind that you have to respect the art and creativity the client brings to the table. Their input is important — especially when they trust you,” he shared.

From presenting two standout hat collections — The Beach Series and The Jersey Series — @kreateakustom gave us a deeper look into how meaningful and rewarding it is to see his work featured at two major festivals.

We also want to highlight the launch of the @pamelabatesfoundation , announced on April 1st, 2025, by @iamjusticelaquan and the Bates family. The foundation’s mission is to give back to youth, athletics, and communities across the United States in honor and memory of legendary Hoboken NJ athlete Pamela Bates. by @greaterthanent

We linked up with @linimel_ to explore what makes her the creative force she is. We talked about her journey as a content creator and the inspiration behind launching Dear Body Diary Co.

“I created this space to remind individuals from all walks of life that who you are goes far beyond what you look like. It’s about the energy you bring into a room, the stories you carry, and the healing you choose to do,” she shared.

We spoke on gaining confidence through her creative process. “it’s never been about performing, it’s about becoming.”

We caught up with @tee_y to get an inside look at @_taylormadehoops_ and the motivation behind starting the program.

“It’s my way of staying connected to the game of basketball and giving back all the knowledge and guidance I was fortunate enough to receive to the next generation of hoopers,” he shared.

Taylor Made Hoops is dedicated to helping young athletes sharpen their skills and elevate their basketball mindset.

We spoke about key elements like confidence and Basketball IQ.

“Basketball IQ is a skill that’s often overlooked,” he emphasized.

As a former professional player, @tee_y is using his experience to give back to the youth. This is just the beginning of paving a path for the next generation of hoopers to learn, grow, and execute greatness. by @greaterthanent

We caught up with Shakera Rosa, founder of @milesquaremommies and @wejumptogether , to talk about what inspired the creation of MSM.

“This platform is meant to give ALL moms — especially Black and Brown mothers — a voice in the community. There wasn’t a space in Hoboken that truly centered everyday motherhood — the joys and the raw, unfiltered experiences.”

Hailing from a square-mile town she describes as having “a magic that never leaves you,” Shakera created not one, but two platforms to showcase that magic every day.

“I wanted to change the narrative by using my voice to amplify other Black and Brown voices — and that’s where my second platform, J.U.M.P. (@wejumptogether ), comes in.”

We had the chance to talk with Briana, the owner of @neighborsstudio__ , who shared that the word “neighbors” means more than just the general term.

“It’s about community—helping one another and sharing resources,” she said.

The idea sparked during the pandemic, when hosting pop-up events ignited a desire to create a space that felt personal and welcoming for friends and family. @neighborsstudio__ became the answer to that vision.

“The motivation was my people. Being able to tell my friends, ‘Hey, we finally have a spot to make stuff happen.’”

It’s clear that @neighborsstudio__ is here to stay—and it’s definitely greater than just a spot for events. by @greaterthanent
