I am really bad at recap posts because while a thousand things happened, it feels like nothing happened. That being said, this is one of the top moments of the year. Because if you know kids this age, they don’t sit still. Ever. So for all of them to plunk down and watch Uncle Kris wrestle? It was special. May we all plunk down and be in the moment more in 2026. by @green.adventurine

I have very few wrestling memories from when I was little. The Bushwhackers were one of them. Dad was all in on it, from what I can remember, so I had to get my picture with him. Apparently I was the only one who played the part when he said to act like I was choking him. These people need to learn how to work. Life is silly. by @green.adventurine

Also, there’s no one else I’d want bailing me out of a situation. I’ve scared him twice this trip, but he keeps a level head and strong armed that four wheeler out of the muck. I don’t think it was the muck of avarice, but to be fair, I wouldn’t know how to identify that. My favorite adventure partner forever. by @green.adventurine

For those with the benefit of flash photography. I went into the sun and didn’t burst into flames. Fair shows are sometimes the best shows.
