Hey guys. Meet Eddie. There’s a misconception out there that I don’t like dogs. That ain’t true. I don’t usually like dog people. Mostly on account of them being people. Eddie was dealt a bad hand. His original owner died from cancer. His next owner abandoned him. In a hole. In the bottom of an abandoned building. Through sheer luck and some good people, he’s ok. And now through a series of fortuitous events, he’s here. I was raised on a tiny farm in the middle of nowhere and I’m eternally grateful for it. It taught me the most important things. Some harsh, some beautiful. I understand that when you take on a pet, the best possible outcome is that you watch them get old, and pass away. The clock never yields it only moves at different speeds. Eddie is big. He’s scarred. He’s intimidating. But he just wants a good life. I hear ya. I aim to deliver. Get some sleep hoss. You’re going on a coffee walk and keeping me company in the garage gym tomorrow morning, bright and early.

I’m very lucky to have a lot of cool pictures of me doing things I love. But this has to be my favorite. Go fast. Live. Be scared. Be alive. Fear is the mind killer.

Having an Awesome time with my good friend, Meg. Most likely taken right before, or right after a Fireball shot.
