a moment for the womb 🫶 it is an honor, and a privilege, to be a mother to surrender to something greater than yourself to become a portal to the cosmos to become a gateway to infinity to play a part in the continuous cycle of life to become someone’s reason for existing to become someone’s entire world to be taken to the edges of your heart to have someone’s tiny hand wrapped around a finger in the quiet moments of the night to be the safe space for someone to become the fullest version of themselves this is to the mothers of children to the women who wanted to be mothers but couldn’t to the women who didn’t want to be mothers and took the call anyway to the mothers who had to mother themselves to the single mothers to the mothers who lost their babies to the daughters who lost their mother to the dads who had to become mothers to the mothers of animals, plants and all life to the stewards of Mother Earth to the maidens who stepped aside to let life continue through them to those who love like a mother forever grateful for the special soul who picked us to the dog who barked at us from the shelter cage to the seeds in the soil who asked for me to water them for it is because of these beings of life, that make me a mother in the first place 🌱 today I honor my vessel, my womb, and this life that my mother gifted me, and every mother before us gifted us, so I could be here, to become, everything I was meant to be ~ mother 💞 sharing more of my maternity photos taken by the wonderful @goo3goo by @greenearthforming

year 31 was a celebration ~ of a loving partnership of Bubbie of friendship of family of building of growing of creativity of taking up space of a job well done of playing outside of choosing pleasure > pressure of aligning my income with purpose of bringing people together of new life welcomed earthside of a long lived life lost of embodiment of surrender of love 31 felt light and fun as I spent most of it becoming the portal that welcomed the best gift yet, the love of my daughter. calling in a new, beautiful year as mother. house → home sharing some things I’m incredibly grateful for 🫶 ⟡ a beautiful home, in a supportive community, in the mountains (that we get to OWN in Colorado, like what!!) that we get to shape and make into our own ⟡ a super handy partner that can do almost anything himself, and listens to all of my crazy design requests and ideas, with my only technical knowledge of actually building anything coming from the Sims lol ⟡ skilled friends and connections—for the things we can’t do all on our own ⟡ a place of employment that has supported me in getting out of an incredible amount of debt the past 2 years and to financially support these projects ⟡ time to tend to our projects, and divine timing at that, to get the majority of everything we want done before our special guest arrives this spring 🌱 ⟡ my health, especially my physical condition in the second trimester, giving me enough energy to feel good enough to make the majority of this happen through the holidays. the flooring project itself which took place the week of Christmas and New years 😅 ⟡ and most importantly, a loving partnership that truly makes any space, any project and any challenge worth it. our house has been a home since day 1 but it’s looking and feeling ready to welcome in one more human to love 💫 were doin it!
