I competed again in the United States Barista Competition, making semi finals this year. To say this competition is hard is an understatement. I'm inspired by the incredible talent and high bar the competitors have set. I don't do it for sales or marketing for Greenway Coffee, it's purely a personal professional goal to be better. I learn so much every time and am surrounded by people putting their all into me and it means a lot. Thanks to the team for getting us this far, it was worth every late night, every broken glass, every recital. Y'all are the best. by @greenwaycoffee

Houston showed up for their special look at the Road to Championships with U.S. Barista Championship competitors Elika Liftee and David Buehrer.

Elika and David gave their insights into the competition circuit and what it takes to compete. More importantly, they inspired the next generation of baristas in Houston and helped build excitement for the 2026 U.S. Barista Championships.

A huge thank you to Greenway Coffee for hosting this incredible event and to Elika and David for sharing your knowledge, experience, and passion with everyone in attendance.

1 month ago I landed in Houston and held a jigger for the 1st time. I got absorbed by the @greenwaycoffee team and this cultured city through the lens of hospitality.

Flying to seattle together and making it all the way to Finals Top 6 for US Coffee and Good Spirits Nationals with the best team i could have asked for was a blast!

Thank you to @greenwaybarista and @nikenator for believing and betting on me.
