Got some more practice in yesterday on a leftover sport pattern. Trying to make sure i’m better equipped to get my ball using more of the midlane as oil gets downlane. So for now, its more hand action and more rev rate as result. I do think it’s looking pretty good with the @stormproducts Equinox Solid.

Longer look at some shots from practice yesterday where I was working on more hand action while trying to be more inside of the ball from different parts of the lane.

Had a nice quick practice yesterday. I spent a lot of time learning physical tools and ranges to handle the fresh on flat patterns and play more in the friction as a higher rev rate/ball speed player over the last couple of years, that now I need to put more intention behind the physical tools/ranges for handling the later stages of transition when the backends feel super tight because of all the oil that gets downlane. So here I am working on feeling more hand action.

First look at the @motivbowling Jackal Ghost V2! Threw it in league last night with varying success. Initial thoughts - felt a little too quick for the fresh, pretty strong, and probably will get most of its use shortly after that initial carry down stage of transition. So far good stuff.

Tried to teach an old ball new tricks😅. Brought out my @motivbowling Raptor Rush for some practice on a leftover house shot. Trying to work on some different amounts of loft and grip pressure to help create some more impactful ball roll during some different stages of transition.

Threw some of my higher friction balls in practice last week on a fresh house shot. Didn’t even end up using a single one at the regional though 😅. Going to explore some more with the medium friction and response options I have this week at league and during practice. Just trying to get keep getting better one step at a time.

Cashed at the PBA Bayport Mortgage Chesapeake Super Regional this past weekend. Started the advancers round in 13th, but unfortunately wasn’t able to hang on for the top 16 cut. Not sure if I’ll make it out to any of the PBA Elite Regionals, so if this was my last one of the year, it’s been a fun season!

Highlights from A Squad at the @pbatour Super Regional down in Chesapeake VA. Got to +207 for the 8 games of qualifying! Mostly threw urethane with a little bit of the @ebonitebowling Turbo-X NU at the end of the block. 5 more games for the advancers round in the morning 💪🏾.

First night of Fall Season Bowling League did not go as planned lol. Did not break 600 but I did throw the @stormproducts Equinox Solid majority of the night. Hopefully can make it to practice one more time before the super regional this weekend.

@stormproducts Ion Max Pearl on a fresh house shot. Felt like it was less friction than I expected but still about as quick as I expected. I don’t throw balls similar to the Ion Max Pearl very often but maybe this will hell me be able to get them back in the rotation now.

Brought my @brunswickbowlingproducts equipment to practice the other day. Got a chance to throw the @ebonitebowling Turbo-X NU & GB5, @hammerbowling Effect, and the @columbia300 Richochet Pearl on a leftover house shot! I’ve had a lot of success using the Turbo-X NU during the stages of transition I’ve seen around games like 5-7 of tournaments, especially on some or the medium and shorter patterns. The GB5 and effect I’ve used a bunch on house and also during those later transition games closer to the “burn”.
