We get asked about the music in these brand spots A LOT! There seems to be as much love for the music as the pizza, which is unusual and cool. We believe in creation in house by a team. Food, visual art, writing and now music. All by the team at Katie’s. We asked a great composer and friend, @elpenthe333 to write/score all music for our work. More to come on his work for Katie’s. It’s quite a project, and can’t wait to share. It has been about 6 weeks since we officially launched in @target, and our Burrata Margherita is the #6 bestselling frozen pizza in Target stores NATIONWIDE! Unreal. Every single one of those pizzas was hand-stretched, topped, and wood-fired right here in St. Louis by our incredible team. No shortcuts! Real people, making real pizza. Thank you all for the love and support, and for continuing to buy our pizzas! Scaling up without compromising wasn’t easy… but it’s working. Grazie mille! We didn’t just have 96 days to make 400,000 pizzas by hand for Target, we also only had 96 days to create a full throttle multi dimensional national marketing campaign. I would go as far to say that was as challenging of not more. We now have to support a nationwide launch AS a national brand….coming from the unknown. Instead of hiring a big firm and influencers, we built the creative team on our own just like the pizzas. @anthonygaddis lead the charge and put together the best creatives in the country. This is one of many campaigns featuring my family. Filmed by @cutraro. Music composed by @elpenthe333, editing and art direction by @anthonygaddis and team, strategy by @gregoryashadwick. This is one of many. You may have already seen a few. I hope you enjoy them all! The team has put their heart and soul into the next 6 months of work.
