A little something for myself. Extralite HyperRear2, DT Aerolite spokes, black alloy nipples. Note the undrilled inner wall. No rim tape needed, much lower chance of sealant entering the rim cavity. It's also dang light! by @gregoryvanthomas

It's a little known secret that there's almost always fresh snacks courtesy of the landlord's son who's in a baking PHASE (omg I found the edit button!). Come by and get some!

Precision Bicycle Services is open for business! I still don't have a register, but if I don't start taking bikes in now, I never will. Everything else will grow organically.
Hit me up here or by any other way you may already have.
Appointments preferred.
Please refer to the arrows on the prior post to find me while I work on a sign. taken in EDVOTEK by @gregoryvanthomas

It's finally starting to happen.
I'm setting up my own bicycle service studio. It's at 1121 5th St NW, in the lower first floor with a street front entrance.
I'm just starting the moving in process, so it'll be a week or two before I'm properly set up for business with regular hours and such.
Oh, the name?
Precision Bicycle Services,
which happens to be exactly what I'll be providing.
Website will be PrecisionBicycleServices.com, but it's not up yet.
I will also offer fittings in collaboration with @jocojr at @veloconcepts .
Wish me luck! taken in EDVOTEK by @gregoryvanthomas

Why is Curtis crying?
Maybe it's because I left District Cycle Works!
I'll be working from home in the meantime. Rest assured that I have on hand all the tools and equipment necessary to service all the good stuff. Most of the tools I had at DCW were mine anyway.
Feel free to reach out to me through DMs here in the meantime.
Looking to the future, I plan on setting up my own service studio. Details are slim right now, I'll let you know when things change.
Wish me luck! by @gregoryvanthomas

New tool day! PB Swiss's revised torque wrench, the sensuously named PB 9325.A, replacing the nonsensically named PB 8325. Both break away at the set torque and will repeat the breakaway, making it impossible to over-torque a bolt. Both can be used in reverse, but the breakaway is roughly double the listed torque. It's really intended to loosen whatever you just tightened as opposed to tightening left hand threaded hardware. Range is about the same, 3.4-16Nm (old one started at 3.2), form factor is similar, but it is much more user friendly. The new one adjusts with a dial that you just pull out a bit and turn. Pulling it too hard disassembles it and shows the user replaceable battery. The old one had a battery that was WELDED IN (wtf), and required a long 4mm hex to adjust. My only concern is that when opened, there are some very very thin exposed wires that I'm sure to mess up. Cost? It's PB Swiss, c'mon. by @gregoryvanthomas
