Bear Down, @chicagobears!!!
.
A few years ago, @thescorechicago asked me to do a toy-recorder version of "Bear Down", as the team was consistently under achieving.
.
But now, the Bears are looking good, and I thought we needed a representative tailgate anthem.
.
So, here is Bear Down, if it were on @metallica's Black Album.
.
I couldn't do this without the help of a pair of Metallica loving buds.
.
@bootzmode - Vocals (from Metallica tribute - @whiplashchicago )
@jessenpr - Graphics / Art
.
There are 4 versions of this listed, as folks may want to use them for different occasions. I hope you enjoy!
.
Instrumental / Vocals / Without the intros.
All available on the @gregsguitarlessons YouTube channel!

So proud of all of my students and friends who performed at Grayslake Summer Nights. It was an absolutely perfect night.
.
It is as good of a community event as you’ll find, and every year, it somehow gets better. Kudos to everyone involved in making it happen.

The Birthday Band played its first (and only?) live show on 5/22/26. There is a full 16 song multi tracked performance up on YouTube if you’re interested in checking it out. For now, here is a clip of one song, “Dylan Thomas”, by @betteroblivioncommunitycenter.
