A blizzard photo finish for the books at @goremountain in New York for the 3rd NorAm stop this past season. The team Gore did an amazing job as a blizzard completely changed the course and racing conditions. At the same time, the athletes had to completely change their approach heat after heat and day to day.

One constant throughout the storm: @theomclemore — 2026 North American Overall Champion—who snagged the best qualifying time, held on to win a tight big final and secure 1st place at the podium after a photo finish with the North American 2nd Place rider, @griffin___mason. We asked snowboard cross athletes why they love the sport, and what people should know about it. Here’s @griffin___mason , the 2024 Canadian Snowboard Cross Champion, back to back 2nd overall in the 2025/2026 NorAm seasons, and World Cup athlete who races for @quebecsnowboard and @club_prestige_snowboard . He works as an arborist in the off season and a snow groomer during the season in order to support his on-snow career. Videography by @envolez by @griffin___mason

If you’re going to wipe out pushing it at the finish line, it’s best to do it in style… @cam.poklop , @theomclemore , @james_sbx , @griffin___mason , @hamel.mason 🎥 : @envolez by @griffin___mason

Very thankful to have a World Cup spot this season and get the opportunity to ride these amazing tracks. Not the result we were looking for out here in Cervinia Italy 🇮🇹 but honoured to ride this track with the best of the best

Thank you to our Wakefield Giant Tigre Géant, store 138 and staff! Your generous donation of food supplies for the spaghetti supper helped raised over $2000. Thank you so much to all who came out and enjoyed a great meal! Giant Tiger by @griffin___mason

Last race season was the best I ever had. Placed 2nd overall in NorAm circuit and qualified in the Mont Ste Anne World Cup. These accomplishment’s won me a spot on the World Cup circuit for the 2025-26 season.
Sadly Team Canada was not increasing their team number of snowboard cross athletes as it’s an Olympic year. This was a major disappointment and stalled me to move forward in my racing career.
With the encouragement of my family and close friends, I’ve decided to GO FOR IT.
The first World Cup is in Italy mid December.
Please keep an eye out for SWAG sales, spaghetti supper, raffles and silent auctions to help support me as I represent Wakefield, Quebec and Canada on the world stage this coming season.
Please take a moment and check out my new website link is in my bio. Website created by @suzykews It’s the best way to keep up to date and support
