Happy #NAIDOCweek ❤💛🖤 I'm humbled and grateful to be living and working on #DjaDjaWurrungCountry I honour their ancestors past, present and emerging. I acknowledge that their sovereignty over these lands was never ceded. I stand with them in solidarity in all of their calls for self determination over people and country. NAIDOC Week for me is about embracing the opportunity for learning and experiencing the awesome diversity First Nations cultures on this continent have to share. It truly is a remarkable place to live. As a settler, NAIDOC is also about checking in on myself and the work I'm doing to decolonise the communities I live and work in. This amazing resource from @_enterthedragon_ is a fantastic starting point for anyone looking for ways to go about this work. #decolonisation #DoTheWork #PayTheRent #NoTreesNoTreaty #AlwaysWasAlwaysWillBe #AboriginalLand by @groundupcreative

Warning: delicious food ahead! We are beyond thrilled to be welcoming @olivia_s_pantry to the #kyneton community. K-town's first #vegan cafe Olivia's Pantry also has a distinctly #italian flavour. They had their opening today so a visit was in order to peruse the yumminess on offer and we were not disappointed! So many delicious options on the menu as well as a cabinet filled with decadent treats. Can't wait to try them all. To top it all off they're brewing with @staydialedcoffee Yasssss! All the best Valentina and Andrea! #VeganCafe #MacedonRanges #VisitVictoria #CountryVictoria #EatLocal #CrueltyFree #OliviasPantry by @groundupcreative

This Friday we're downing tools to join the #ClimateStrike⠀ ⠀ People, business and governments around the world are slowly waking up to the realities that climate change is not just an idea any more, it's an ever increasing reality. The impacts are being felt everywhere. ⠀ ⠀ It's not just on individuals, or business, or governments to make the changes we need. It's on all of us. ⠀ ⠀ We hope you'll join us in supporting our kids too and take to the streets in your local area.⠀ ⠀ If you need more ideas about what your business can do to help mitigate the effects of climate change, there's 7 to get you going on our blog.⠀ ⠀ For more info and to see a rapidly growing list of businesses heeding the call of our amazing young people, visit the not business as usual website.⠀ ⠀ #ClimateDisruption #ThisIsNotBusinessAsUsual #SchoolStrike4Climate #ClimateAction #ThereIsNoPlanetB #StopAdani #ClimateEmergency #EthicalBusiness #protest #StandUp by @groundupcreative
🌏⠀ Fixing our soils is one of the most important forms of #ClimateAction and more and more Australian farmers are taking on the challenge. One of the most powerful consumer actions we can take is to support them in their work!⠀ .⠀ This years Australian Food Sovereignty Alliance gathering resulted in an inspiring declaration which laid down a challenge for everyone to buy something from a farmer with a face. (You can read the whole declaration on their website).⠀ .⠀ This weekend is our first local Malmsbury Village Farmers Market and I can't wait to get down there and fill my basket with fresh local goodness! 🍅🍒🍑🥔🥕🌽🍞⠀ .⠀ #SaveOurFarmers #SaveOurSoil #FarmersMarket #Malmsbury #CentralVictoria #MacedonRanges #ClimateChange #AFSA #ConsumerAction #BuyLocal by @groundupcreative
This Saturday is the 50th anniversary of the moon landing. One of the most significant events in human history, it was a time that changed our view of earth. Today our society is grappling with multiple complex issues facing our planet. Top of that list is climate change. So this weekend we're having a party to celebrate the moon landing and raise some funds for Climate For Change who do amazing work to educate and organise local communities to take action.
