"I've been around all kinds of musicians, and if a cat can play, a cat can play...if it's something that gets in your ear and it's good, that's what matters."

Roy Hargrove (@groveydean) - a cat who definitely could play - was born today in 1969. Catch a feeling with rare remixes from @djspinna and @quanticmusic, as commissioned for The RH Factor, his hip-hop/soul combo. These grooves, featuring @erykahbadu, @qtiptheabstract and @jacques_schwarzbart, are available digitally for the first time, straight from the Verve Vault! Link in bio.
