Intentionally raising boys who understand that cooking, cleaning, and taking care of a home are LIFE SKILLS, not gender roles. ❤️👏🏽

I want my boys to grow up knowing that being a man doesn’t exempt you from household responsibilities. I’m not raising them to “help” their future wives; I’m raising them to be responsible partners who understand that a home belongs to everyone who lives in it. 🥹❤️

The little things we teach our children today become the values they carry into adulthood. And this is one lesson I’m intentional about teaching my boys. 🥰

China has been on Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, which ended today. During the holiday, Bryan kept saying how much he missed his classmates and going to school. 🥹❤️

Surprisingly, as soon as we got to school today and the girls saw him, they literally ran out of the classroom to welcome him! 😂😃

Kids are honestly the sweetest. 🥰❤️ It’s so cute seeing how quickly they form these little friendships. 🥹

One of my favorite parts of our bedtime routine 🥹❤️

We read a Bible story or any story book together, talk about what we learned, and then Bryan leads us in prayer. Watching him pray in his own little way honestly melts my heart. 🥹🙏🏽

I pray these little moments become a strong foundation for their faith as they grow. ❤️

My baby resumed school on Monday, and so far, he has been enjoying every bit of it! 🥹🥰

He woke up today, Saturday, and asked why he wasn’t getting ready for school 😂😂. I had to remind him that today is Saturday before he realised he doesn’t go to school on Saturdays. 😂😭

I’ll be honest, I was a little worried at first because he’s the only foreigner in his class. But every day since he started, he hasn’t given me any reason to worry. 🥹❤️ He tells me that his teachers are good to him and that he’s enjoying being around his classmates, and that alone gives me so much relief. 🥰

I’m so happy for my boy and this new chapter in his life. 🥹❤️

May God continue to protect him, guide him, and surround him with good people. 🙏🏽💕

My baby is 2 today! 😭😭😭❤️

To think I missed your first birthday, and honestly, I still haven’t completely forgiven myself for it. 😭 That’s how bad my mom guilt has been. But today, my heart is filled with so much gratitude to God because I get to spend your 2nd birthday with you. 🥹❤️ And by the special grace of God, I pray I never have to miss any of your birthdays ever again.

My Jide Bobo! 🥹❤️ Thank you for bringing so much joy, laughter and happiness into our lives. You are only 2 years old, but oh my! You are hands down the smartest 2-year-old I know. 😭😂❤️ Watching your personality unfold and seeing the little boy you’re becoming is such a beautiful gift.

My prayer for you, my son, is that your days will be long, your life will be filled with God’s favour, wisdom and grace, and that you will grow to become a man who loves God, walks in purpose and makes a beautiful impact on this world. May you always be protected, guided and surrounded by people who genuinely love you. May you never lack any good thing, and may the plans of God for your life be fulfilled in abundance. 🙏🏽❤️
