My baby is 2 today! 😭😭😭❤️

To think I missed your first birthday, and honestly, I still haven’t completely forgiven myself for it. 😭 That’s how bad my mom guilt has been. But today, my heart is filled with so much gratitude to God because I get to spend your 2nd birthday with you. 🥹❤️ And by the special grace of God, I pray I never have to miss any of your birthdays ever again.

My Jide Bobo! 🥹❤️ Thank you for bringing so much joy, laughter and happiness into our lives. You are only 2 years old, but oh my! You are hands down the smartest 2-year-old I know. 😭😂❤️ Watching your personality unfold and seeing the little boy you’re becoming is such a beautiful gift.

My prayer for you, my son, is that your days will be long, your life will be filled with God’s favour, wisdom and grace, and that you will grow to become a man who loves God, walks in purpose and makes a beautiful impact on this world. A little update on what’s been happening since the kids arrived 🥰❤️

The kids are having the time of their lives, and everyone has been so sweet towards them 🥰. We’re constantly stopped by parents with kids who just want to say hello, interact with them, and communicate with them. They’re even gradually making new friends in our neighborhood 🥹❤️.

Me, on the other hand… I’m beginning to miss the days when I didn’t have to shout or clean my house 1 billion times a day 😭😂. As much as I missed having them around, I’m starting to think maybe I should have just left them in Nigeria! 😂😂😂

Anyways, it’s been so much fun and equally chaotic having them around. Motherhood is definitely keeping me on my toes, but honestly, I wouldn’t trade this for anything 🥰❤️

🥰 And finally… my babies are here in China with me! 🇨🇳🥹❤️

But first, I want to give all the glory to God Almighty for making this possible and for being so intentional and mindful of me. He loves me so much, and honestly, it’s evident in my life. I never want to take His love for granted. 🙏🏽❤️

Secondly, to my family who took care of my babies in my absence, I honestly don’t know how to thank you enough. 🥹❤️ You stepped in, loved them, cared for them, and made sure they were okay while I was away. I may never be able to repay you, but I know my God will reward each and every one of you on my behalf. 🥰🙏🏽

As excited as I am about this new chapter, I’m not going to lie… I’m nervous too. 😭😂 I honestly don’t know what to expect. But we can all agree that taking care of kids alone in a foreign country is NOT for the faint-hearted! 😭😂

But one thing I know for sure is that God is with us. And with Him, I know we’ll be just fine. I’ll take it one day at a time, give myself grace, and enjoy every moment of this new season with my babies. 🥰❤️

I heard you’ve been looking for me. 🥹🥰 I’ve been super busy planning my sister’s wedding, and it’s finally happening this weekend! 💃🏻💍
