After 5 years in the US, we are finally starting our new chapter. That wasn't easy, that's really challenging and really different from our previous experience, but we made it. Now we really can tell our friends from all around the world you are always welcome at OUR home. and yes the address is something to add to this amazing moment (gen z and alpha, don't bother to understand) - Beverly Hills, 90210. 🔥🔥🔥 taken in Beverly Hills, California by @gruzdev_alex

Why the Triangle Holds You Back

Have you ever felt trapped in recurring conflicts or caught “helping” someone only to feel drained? Breaking the Triangle dissects how playing Victim, Aggressor, or Rescuer can become a self-sabotaging loop.

Inside you’ll discover:
- How the Victim role keeps you “safe,” yet starves you of true agency
- Why aggression shows up not only as anger but as sarcasm, micromanagement, or perfectionism
- When rescuing crosses the line from genuine support to codependency

Each insight is backed by real-life deals I’ve negotiated and cinematic breakdowns—think Michael Corleone’s strategic retreats in The Godfather or Tyler Durden’s allure in Fight Club. Journal prompts, reflection exercises, and practical scripts guide you to pause mid-pattern and choose a new path.

If you’re ready to stop reruns and script your own breakthrough, dive in now.  Look for Alexander Gruzdev on Amazon. taken in Los Angeles, California by @gruzdev_alex

Some say acting isn’t a real profession. Many think it’s easy — that anyone can do it. Others believe it takes luck or money to break into the business.

I’m incredibly grateful I got to witness it all firsthand with the amazing @elenadeva_

What I realized? Any kind of office job — anything you do behind a computer — is WAY easier.

It’s not just the physical effort, like wearing a leather coat in 43°C/109°F heat or standing in front of a giant industrial fan in an air-conditioned room. It’s about stepping far outside your comfort zone.

Would you be okay changing your entire outfit — including underwear — right on set, surrounded by people you just met? Or even on the street?

Could you live without a schedule, getting final shooting details at 9pm for the next morning? Or finish a scene at 1am and be back on set by 6am?

Nobody cares how tired you are. If your role is a happy mom, you smile and act like one — convincingly.

But here’s the real challenge: You learn your role, your lines, your scenes. You repeat them thousands of times. You live them. And every time, you give it everything — all your emotions, all your energy. Because if you don’t, the audience won’t feel it. They won’t connect. They won’t keep watching.

And what does that mean for the artist? After a 10–14 hour day, she’s not just physically exhausted — she’s emotionally drained. It takes days to recover.

So when you see an artist on screen, remember: every minute you watch took at least 3–4 days of work.

I’m proud I got to witness that. And I’m incredibly proud of you, @elenadeva_ ❤️🥰😍 taken in Los Angeles, California by @gruzdev_alex

As we celebrate the 249th anniversary of American independence, I’m reminded that this nation’s foundation is built on the dreams of immigrants. I’m honored to be part of a journey that started on July 4, 1776—and is still unfolding today.

Reflecting on my own path:

• Moving wasn’t easy
• Adapting took grit
• The reality didn’t always match my expectations
• I was tempted to give up more than once
• Yet, I wouldn’t trade this experience for anything

Why stay? After traveling to nearly 40 countries, I’ve found that no place offers more avenues for growth and success.

If you want an easy life — US is not the right place. If you want to work your ass out but become a successful person — US will provide you the most opportunities to do so. taken in Los Angeles, California by @gruzdev_alex

10 Years Later, Same Weight, New Mindset 🏋️‍♂️

A decade ago, training was a regular part of my routine. Then came years of travel, moving from country to country, settling in the US 5 years ago, yet consistent workouts remained on the back burner.

Fast forward to today, and I’m back in the game at @equinox Sport Club, where every session is a pleasure. Same work out weight — 60kg, just like 10 years ago—but the journey to get here has been a challenging one.

It took 9 months to see visible results. If you’re just starting, stay with it. Progress won’t come overnight, and that’s okay. Training 2-4 times a week without immediate change can feel frustrating, but persistence is everything. Huge thanks to my beloved @elenadeva_ for being my motivation and support! ❤️🔥

Today, I donated 10 Hemotypesc kits (50 tests each) to the Sickle Cell Foundation of Nigeria! 🎉 With these, 500 newborns will be screened, and at a 4% prevalence, we’re expecting to find about 20 cases of sickle cell disease early on. Early diagnosis leads to early treatment and can truly save lives!

Imagine—a future scientist or innovator could emerge from these screened lives, one who might change healthcare or even help humanity reach new frontiers. 🚀 Every test counts, and every life matters. taken in Ladi kwali Hall, Sharaton Hotel Abuja by @gruzdev_alex

Absolutely humbled and proud to be part of something truly life-changing! 🙌 With our amazing partners, Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI) and the Nigerian Ministry of Health, we're taking a giant leap toward launching a national newborn screening program in Nigeria. This breakthrough in early detection for sickle cell disease isn’t just progress—it’s hope for countless little ones and a future filled with brighter possibilities. ✨ taken in Boston, Massachusetts, USA by @gruzdev_alex

So I made it. Today’s 10K run was a wild ride. It started off with an adrenaline rush—overtaking runners left and right felt awesome. Around the first mile, while some began to slow down, I still had plenty of energy. That also added to my motivation. Then, by the third mile (between 4-5 kilometers), my strength started to fade, and runners began passing me one after another. That wasn’t motivating:))

At the 5K mark, it was bittersweet watching some turn already to hit the finish while I still had to hit the other 5k. The 6th, 7th, and 8th kilometers were powered through with a fast walk, but every step was a testament to pushing past the struggle. I won’t lie—it was mentally challenging. My legs and breath were holding on, and though I switched to a run now and then, motivation was wavering.

But after 8K, something shifted. I realized I could do it, and those final 2 kilometers were run with a huge burst of positivity. My first 10k start, my personal fastest 10k, nothing to be proud of in terms of minutes - 1:23:50 for 10k is definitely below the average, but today my challenge was to complete it. Every step taught me about perseverance and the joy of breaking through limits.

A couple of years ago, I used to say running just wasn’t my thing—I’d get exhausted too quickly and definitely wasn’t a fan of sweating it out. Fast forward to today: I’m regularly conquering a 5K on the treadmill a few times a week, and tomorrow marks my very first 10K start. It’s not about the time or the record; it’s about embracing the challenge, enjoying every step, and proving to myself that progress is built one run at a time. Let’s make fun tomorrow. taken in Laguna Hills, California by @gruzdev_alex
