~ Midsummer mineral news: we are honored to announce the release of Mike Adcock’s album *Playing Bluestone* on August 1st.

This is a minimalist music project created to showcase the timbre of the musical stones used at Stonehenge, which were discovered to originate from the Preseli Hills in Wales.

The album will be released digitally for free, with a limited run of 100 CDs, while an art edition on lathe-cut vinyl will be released in September.

The cover art has been created by Greg Slick (http://www.gregslick.com/)

Further information and the video created for one of the album's tracks will follow over the weekend ~

I dipinti di Slick indagano le idee di monumentalità attraverso le geometrie dei siti archeologici preistorici. to participate in the group exhibition BESTIARIO LUCRETILE, for which he will portray the *Canis Lupus Italicus*.

Greg Slick (born 1961 in Jersey City, NJ) is a visual artist and independent curator based in Beacon, NY. Time, history, archaeology, and anthropology play a significant thematic role in his work. Slick’s paintings explore ideas of monumentality through the geometries of prehistoric archaeological sites. Utilizing color, texture, patterns of entoptic phenomena, and occasional references to archaeological drawing, his work examines how megalithic forms can occupy space in diverse and compelling ways within an abstract language.
