Always a topic of debate it seems…to tape or not to tape? Living in the great Pacific Northwest where we see ALOT of rain and moisture for that matter. I’m all in on the tape however always up for discussion!

@gtape.canada @gtapes.usa @g_tapes is what I use on my decks. It’s easy to open, apply and it sticks great when that treated substructure is really wet! 💦

Of course I get all my decking needs @pocobuildingsupplies you should too!

Shout out to @enserinksconstruction for this Gtape window flashing review:

Let’s talk window flashing. Many different ways to do it. My go to method is to cut back the house wrap as shown in the picture. Caulk around the entire window using quad MAX. Then use @gtape.canada around the entire window. 2” on the bottom, 4” on the sides and 6” on the top. Fold back the house wrap and tape back into position.

@gtape.canada is by far the best flashing tape I have used of all the brands available and is roughly the same cost.

Fight the cold and ice 🥶💪🥶 Posted @withrepost • @ironowlwoodwork What would we do without @g_tapes
Effortlessly removing ice off your framing in the morning definitely makes for a better start to the day.

Life without @g_tapes 👀 Posted @withrepost • @infinitedecks Had a service call today on a deck we built 6 years ago. Our client said a few board ends were loose. Apparently not all treated material is treated the same. At least the rest of the deck didn't show any sign of deteriorationand was still solid. Easy fix with a replacement 2x4 wrapped in @g_tapes #gtapegnation #tape #build #diy #fix #fail #decks #deckbuilding #deck #protect #insta #compositedecking #pvcdecking #share #create #contractor #outdoordesign #deckdesign by @gtape.canada
