What could we possibly add to our Premiere Party on November 6th to make it even more fabulous?! Well, I'm glad you asked! I want you guys to meet my friend Larry Gee.

Larry started out as just my photographer and videographer. He photographed my art, helped me tell my story and somewhere along the way became a really good friend.

What I didn’t know when we first met was everything he was carrying.

Larry was living with Stage 5 kidney disease. And before I knew him as the guy behind the camera, he had spent years of his life as a musician. He toured, performed on national television and built a life around music before eventually stepping away from it.

One of the things Larry has told me over the years is that watching me discover art later in life and actually go after it helped remind him that it wasn’t too late to go back to something he loved too.

That has always stuck with me.

Because while he says I inspired him, I watched him keep working, creating and finding his way back to music while dealing with a disease that left so much of his future uncertain.

In 2025, Larry received a kidney transplant.

And now, after more than a decade away from releasing music, my friend has a new song called “Keep Walking.”

It was born from what he went through, but when I heard it, I realized it’s much bigger than kidney disease.

We’re all walking through something.

So Larry, you’ve told me that my journey helped you find your way back to yours.

Now I want to return the favor.

If you follow me, I’m asking you to give my friend a few minutes of your time.

Search “Keep Walking” by Larry Gee on Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube Music, Amazon Music or wherever you listen.

Listen to it. Save it. Share it.

3 of the first fine art pieces I ever bought ... by artist Michelle Y Williams! At the time - bought from my now dear friend, artist guru and mentor @BlakelyBering - at her gallery Bering & James off Kirby Drive.

Subconsciously, my art career began to form way back then 😉 These beautiful colors blend with my artistic inspirations today.

This artwork, along with 10 other pieces by Michelle have traveled with me from home to home the past 22 years... and now they move with me today to my new home in Frisco TXXX.

Moving day is HERE!

Minimalism is on the horizon.

I’m moving to Frisco, TX, and packing has me looking at everything I’ve held onto. Some things are coming with me. Others are ready for someone else.

These shoes are headed for donation, pending Shadow’s approval. She’s already tried leaving with a pair.

Less to carry. More space to create. Feels good to make some room for the next chapter.
