It's a safe bet that none of these beautiful faces would have ever thought they would be given the chance to be a model. That is because they live in a world that tells them that they are not worthy because of their skin.

It may not be with words- even though it often is- but it is more through the stares, the side-eyed glances, the looking away, the gasps of shock, the expressions of disgust, or the moving away when their #skincondition or #birthmark is noticed by a stranger.

But Made A Masterpiece is working hard to change this by helping others see all those who are living with #skinconditions and #birthmarks more clearly. By raising awareness, they are changing the conversation around #skindisease with the aim of reducing stigma so everyone in our #communityforthosewithskinconditions can face the world with confidence.

The amazing children and young adults behind these beautiful faces are helping us make this vision a reality as they take the runway on November 6th at @thehealthmuseum as our Masterpiece Models in our "Fashion Show & Tell" that is being co-hosted by @vibemodelsagency and emceed by @gtmsartworld.

This is their opportunity to show how they want to wear their disease thanks to the fashion of @dannynguyen.couture who is designing bespoke clothing pieces for each one using custom printed fabric that has the microscopic image of their skin condition or birthmark. They will also be bravely sharing their stories through the videos that are part of our #lookatme #whatdoyousee - #thisisme #letmehelpyousee exhibition that is being unveiled that evening during a special VIP reception before we kick off our premiere party and #fashionshow.

It will be an unforgettable evening, and we would love for you to join us. All you need to do is RSVP for your free ticket at https://givebutter.com/c/premiere-party If you can't join us but want to be a part of making the world a better place for kids like our Masterpiece Models, you can also donate using the same link so more children who are living with visible skin differences can learn to love the skin they are in.

Our #lookatme #whatdoyousee - #thisisme #letmehelpyousee exhibition has been a work in progress for over 2 years and is a huge collaborative effort. It is hard to believe that we will be unveiling it in less than 3 weeks with our #communityforthosewithskinconditions at @thehealthmuseum.

It is going to be an incredible evening of celebration, and anyone who has skin- yes, that's YOU- is invited! If you can't join us on November 6th, YOU are still welcome to help us change the conversation around #skindisease by making a donation. Every single dollar makes a huge difference to our small but mighty nonprofit that is working hard to help others see those with #skinconditions and #birthmarks more clearly.

Human-made art carries something AI never can: a life behind every choice.

So if the story and intention matter as much as the image, can AI ever truly make art?

If you’ve made it this far in the caption let me know your thoughts.

Minimalism is on the horizon.

I’m moving to Frisco, TX, and packing has me looking at everything I’ve held onto. Some things are coming with me. Others are ready for someone else.

These shoes are headed for donation, pending Shadow’s approval. She’s already tried leaving with a pair.

Less to carry. More space to create. Feels good to make some room for the next chapter.

If you’re not busy Saturday, September 26 at 10 AM, and you have even the smallest desire to make more artwork, grow your business, and actually make things happen, you cannot miss this. Join me at 1218 Heights Blvd. for breakfast and a very candid conversation about what it really takes to build a successful career as an artist.

A lot of people have philosophies about making things happen. I’m out there doing it every single day. I’m building, creating, selling, promoting, mentoring, and helping other artists find their path while I continue to blaze new trails in the art world.

I’m going to give you an inside look at what I’ve done, I’m doing, what I’ve learned, and how I’m helping change people’s lives through art and entrepreneurship. This event is FREE, and breakfast is on me. If you’re serious about your artwork and serious about growing your business, come spend the morning with me.

Saturday, September 26th, 10:00am, 1218 Heights Blvd.
Please RSVP directly with me at 713 392 6882

Come hungry. Come curious. Come ready to make something happen. You cannot make up things that you miss. #artistshouston #successfulartists #americanartists
