Lessons from >6 months of unemployment:

1) Surrender is a crucial part of manifestation. Let Go and Let God means truly trusting this moment, however uncomfortable, is part of God's plan.

2) Believe in your dream! God didn't create you to settle! He wouldn't put you through these trials to be content. He wants you to live your dream. But first you gotta believe.

3) Release hyper-independence. Humans are social by nature. We are meant to lean on others in good times and bad. Find the people who believe in you when you can't find the strength to believe in yourself.

4) When planting seeds of intention, allow the flowers to bloom before sharing its fruit. Sharing your dreams too early puts unnecessary pressure on your plants to grow. Nurture them in private until there is something worth sharing.

A divine message from the plants - God specializes in the unknown. We can't always see our own growth. Sometimes it takes letting go (pruning) to make space for something new. Take some time to take stock - to truly look within and see how far you've come.

To my friends, I'm known as the "self-sufficient" one, like a self-cleaning oven. I preach the importance of community but I'm the first to say "nah I can do it by myself." The word "reliance" is triggering, as it reminds me of all the times I've been let down and disappointed.

I'm ready for a new level of connection. My relationships with God, with Self, and the people I care most about, are shifting. "If you remain in me, and my word remains in you, ask whatever you wish and it will be yours" -John 15:7. I'm learning to lean on the people that love me, and the importance of asking for what I need.

Sure... I'm completely capable of living a fruitful life in solitude. But this is not my purpose. "He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes" -John 15:2. I release hyper-independece and invite in interdependence. I choose to accept my place in the Christ Body. I choose unconditional love, forgiveness, and service alongside my siblings in Christ. Together we will manifest Heaven on Earth. But only together can this destiny be made manifest.

Seattle in Spring... Proof that beauty can bloom even in darkness 🥲

My 6 years here was coupled with so much darkness and pain. But from that time I gained resilience. I learned that sometimes you have to choose joy, instead of waiting for it to show up. I got to know parts of myself I'd never previously allowed to be seen, heard, or felt. I made friends who taught me the meaning of chosen family. I wouldn't trade my time here for anything. Thank you, Seattle. Until next time 😘✌🏽💜
