The big announcement! We've been given the opportunity to take over our whole building to secure a long term future for Guac 'n' Roll!

We're planning on a mini refurb of the restaurant and a BIG refurb of the bar upstairs, to create LITTLE HELL (named after the Victorian nickname for the area!) A new grassroots gig space for punk, metal, and all extreme music in Liverpool. We'll be opening it as a neighbourhood bar too, and providing space for markets, film screenings, drag and cabaret, and any other DIY events you might want to put on!

There will also be two small art studios available for local creatives, and a print studio.

We need our community's help to fund refurbishment, safety improvements, and licensing fees so we can get the place ready. If you can't donate please share or interact to boost us in the algorithm! We appreciate every one of you.

New menu reveal!!! Starting this Thursday. A lot of your comfort food faves are still there, but we've expanded our selection, made some specials permanent, and upped our gluten free and kids' selections. We hope you'll love it!

(We've also put our prices up a little, it needed to happen in order to cover increased ingredient costs and allow us to actually pay ourselves.)

Design and extreme patience with all my changes @carruthrz

Hello All!!

o()xxxx[{:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::>

Back from my quest to bring you all another seasonal delight!!

Today we’ve got an Apple Strudel Layered Brioche Bun!! ⚔️
Cinnamon and sultana brioche dough, layered with stewed apples and breadcrumbs, filled with a molasses and ginger creme patisserie and finally coated in a cinnamon and maple doughnut glaze straight outa the oven!! Available @mattas1984 @guacnrollkitchen @lovelockscoffeeshop TODAAYYYY!!

This is the first pastry that has secured its spot as a feature in my upcoming pop-up, and a poll will definitely decide which other one it shall be!! I’ll also be posting a lot more regarding what will be for sale in the pop up and gauging your reactions to it all!!

Once again, beyond stoked with the reception my bakes get every week, considering I started by making a dozen here and there to making over 50 every week with wholesale orders to boot its been a crazy quest thus far, all I can hope to do is keep pushing forward and giving you guys the best I can and coming up with new and awesome ways for you guys to experience Barbarian Bakes! ⚔️⚔️⚔️⚔️

Peace and Love,

Garg

Refurb update 7th October. Some small bits in the restaurant, first plants for the roof garden, painting.

Our fundraiser has definitely tailed off, and we need about £1200 more to buy timbers and sheet plastic for the work on the outdoor roof that's due to start next weekend.

If you'd like to help out our GoFundMe is at https://www.gofundme.com/f/refurb-guac-n-roll-and-open-upstairs-for-community-gigs by @guacnrollkitchen
