Guac n Roll Kitchen in Liverpool: vegan food and punk rock cafe Guac have been on my radar for a little while as they have the best name and they also put on punk gigs. I managed to visit in August and loved it. The menu is extensive and is mostly the ‘fake meat’ kind of vegan food, which means they have a wide range - see the photo of the menu for an idea I chose a broccoli dish that was LITERALLY THE BEST BROCOLLI I’VE EVER HAD 🥹 It was garlicy, and a little oily but in a good way, I’m sure it had some of these nutritional yeast flakes on but whatever it was it worked. I’ve been dreaming about the broccoli ever since. The chips were also top tier. And the stuffed pepper on Houmous, lovely. The place has a DIY punk atmosphere which I adore, and a mini vinyl shop! liverpool has some top quality vegan food! I spent a few days there recently and enjoyed eggs royale @the.vibe.cafe, a chilli dog @guacnrollkitchen and hearty veg stew @theeggcafe 😋 did i miss anywhere that I should try out next time? #veganliverpool

Today we’ve got an Apple Strudel Layered Brioche Bun!! ⚔️ Cinnamon and sultana brioche dough, layered with stewed apples and breadcrumbs, filled with a molasses and ginger creme patisserie and finally coated in a cinnamon and maple doughnut glaze straight outa the oven!! This is the first pastry that has secured its spot as a feature in my upcoming pop-up, and a poll will definitely decide which other one it shall be!!
