PROOF “9” - Sep. 🏮 1.Inlay 2.Eddy 9作目のPROOFをリリースしました🥋 この制作時期くらいから、UADのマイクプリやテープシミュレーターなどプラグインを積極的に使い始め、今までのハード機材縛りの制作方法から、少しずつマインドが変化していっています⛽️ 現在、自宅の設備トラブルで制作が完全にストップ。 長い期間をかけて調整してきた機材の配置や制作環境も全て撤収。😂 PROOF以外の納期も迫り、正直大ピンチですが、これも一年続けているからこそ、その時々で乗り越える試練かと思い、前向きに取り組んでいます。 どの機材を使って作るかよりも、どんな曲を作るか。 そこによりフォーカスしだした自分の変化にも驚きつつ、この環境の変化がこれからどう曲に反映されていくのか、個人的にも楽しみです！ ジャケットデザインはあかねさん📸 いつも「曲のイメージは？」と聞かれるんですが、制作時期に行った場所や香りを連想することが多く、それを共有するとすぐに理解し、写真と手法を使って表現してくれる社長には毎回「参りましたね」🫨 Dubplateは @revelation_time さんにてお取り扱いいただいております！ 3枚と極少数なので、気になる方はぜひお気軽にえいじさんへコンタクトをお願いします🙇 そして明日からのMUSIC CITY TENJIN @mct_iwataya90 のサークルブースにも2枚だけ持って行きます！ お近くの方はぜひ寄ってみてください🤝 BandcampやSpotifyでも聴けるので、ぜひチェックしてもらえると嬉しいです‼️ Digital Mastering @naoyatokunou Artwork by circle photo studio / Akane @circle_photo_studio @mtmt_akn PROOF “9” - Sep. 🏮 1.Inlay 2.Eddy The 9th installment of PROOF is out now 🥋 My approach to making music has been changing lately, moving away from a hardware only mindset and focusing more on the music itself. Right now, my studio is completely out of action due to some issues at home, so production has stopped. Pretty bad timing with other deadlines coming up too 🫨 Still, I’m staying positive and curious to see how this change will affect the music I make next. PROOF “8” - Aug 🏮 1. Dusk 2. Feather The 8th edition of PROOF is available from today at @revelation_time 🤏 While making these two tracks, I found it difficult to stay focused. I was feeling a little stuck in a routine, and my motivation wasn’t exactly low, but it wasn’t particularly high either. Kind of like being stuck in my own personal rainy season 🤔 It was a different state of mind from what I’d experienced during the first half of the project. Every month I make several tracks and select which ones will become part of PROOF. Since I’m the one making all the decisions, I also have to decide whether something should be released at all. This time, in a way that feels true to the original idea behind PROOF, I decided to follow the momentum, give these tracks a physical form, and simply put them out into the world. In that sense, this release feels a little more experimental to me. Every month, conversations with Eiji and the feedback I receive after each release make me think about what I could improve or approach differently next time. But figuring out how to actually make those changes means going back to everything I’ve absorbed over the years, studying it, and trying things through making music. At the same time, I don’t think the things buried deepest inside me really change, so figuring out how to process and translate them into music might be another challenge 🗒️ Once again, the jacket was designed by Akane @mtmt_akn @circle_photo_studio 📸 Personally, this might be my favorite jacket in the series so far. The photograph has such a strong presence that I almost felt like the music could be overshadowed by it, which definitely kept me on my toes 😂 Also, the vocal sample in “Feather” is Akane’s voice 🙏 I’ve also received some exciting invitations recently, and while thinking about where things might go from next year onward, I’m spending more time than usual working on next month’s release ⚡️ You can also listen on Bandcamp and Spotify. PROOF”7” - July 🍉 1. Musk 2. Mini Styler 7作目のPROOFが本日より @revelation_time さんにて発売です🤏 先月までの6作・計12曲を世に出してみて、自分が今まで気付いていなかった手癖や構成の癖、音の展開、機材の組み合わせなど様々な発見がありました💡 毎月デッドラインが決まっている中で、半年間続けてきた中から産まれたどこか安全な道を選ぼうとする気持ちが出てきたり。 外に向けて「どうだ！」というよりは、より自分自身への問いが増えているように感じています。 マンネリ化しないように何か新しいスタイルを作らなきゃと思うこともあれば、「こういう音の方がDJはかけやすいよね」と思うこともあったり。 かと言って、その時々で自分の中の小さなブームは常に入れ替わっている状況で。 アルバムのような大きなテーマがあるわけでもないので、より柔軟に、自由に作っていきたいなと🆓 ありがたいことに、毎月購入していただいている方や、「やっと買えた」という方々の声が原動力となり、次のステップに進めている気がしています🤝 circle photo studioを共同で運営しているAkaneさん @mtmt_akn のジャケットもどんどんやりたい事を発信できているようで、今回は写真にハンドステッチが施されています🪡 量産品ではないダブプレートだからこそ出来る手法も面白い文化だと思います。 多くの時間同じ景色を見ている中で、事業も音楽も、良いことばかりではない。試行錯誤を繰り返しながら少しずつ形にしていく感覚は、意外と近いものがあるのかなと思っています💭 そして毎月販売の場を提供していただき、音楽を様々な視点から解釈しアドバイスしてくれるEijiさんに改めて感謝しております🙏🍷 下半期は、まだ自分がやったことのないあらゆる手法を試して、何よりも集中できる環境を自ら作っていきたいと思っています🥋 Digital Mastering @naoyatokunou Artwork by circle photo studio / Akane @circle_photo_studio @mtmt_akn taken in Revelation Time リベレーション･タイム by @guchilink

PROOF"6" - June☔️ 1.Koi 2.Low Lights June is another slightly irregular one🪵 For the A side, I included the theme track for the koi @koi_ttg exhibition happening this weekend at @circle_photo_studio 🪚 When we went to koi’s factory in Shiga to shoot for the ZINE, I recorded some machine sounds with the OP-XY, and from there I started making a downtempo, abstract beat. To be honest, I wasn’t sure how to put it out ( whether it should just be digital, or whether koi would even like it ) but I thought, if I’m going to release it, it might be nice to include it as part of the PROOF project. So I decided to go with the momentum and release it in time for this weekend’s exhibition🌲 The Bside, “Low Lights,” was heavily influenced by Vlad’s (Eirwud Mudwasser)remix. I made it with the idea of stripping away as much as possible, aiming for a minimal, DJ use kind of track, but getting that kind of groove that Vlad has is really not easy. I guess that’s another challenge for the remaining half🤔 Finally reached the halfway point✈️ The tracks for July are already finished too, and while thinking about plans for next year, I’m hoping to keep pushing things even further🥋 The dubplate will be available through @revelation_time and also in limited quantities at the koi exhibition from June 27–29! PROOF"5" - May⚡︎ 1. BRUTAL FORM Eirwud Mudwasser @eirwudmudwasser Remix 2. Echoes of Now Japanese version in the comments📝 May turned into something I never expected. A release featuring a remix. When I released PROOF"3" in March, Eirwud Mudwasser from Bucharest, Romania really liked BRUTAL FORM and sent me a message saying, “If you ever ask someone to remix it, let me know!” And now, he has actually remixed it for me 🤝🇷🇴 Eirwud Mudwasser has released music on UK label Balearic Social Records, as well as Snaker, run by 5ive of Cos/Mes. As he described it, “There are no claps in it, but I built it so you can always feel their presence.” The striking low end pressure and the fluid, seamless, minimal structure made me feel like my own track had been interpreted from a completely different angle. It was a very strange and beautiful experience. The original version was made almost entirely on the OP-XY, so instead of proper stems, I sent him short phrases from each part as sampling material. From there, Vlad finished the remix and sent it back to me in about a week. I’m truly grateful 🙏 This project started simply from the feeling of wanting to find a way to share my own work. I never imagined it would lead to a connection with a DJ from Romania, a country so far from Japan. PROOF"4" - April🌸 鬼門の？4作目も無事リリース👀 引き続きDubplateはRevelation Time Osaka @revelation_time にてお取り扱いいただいております🙏 Bandcampや各種配信サービスも登録していますが、レコードという「物」として実店舗で販売してもらう事で、自分が思っていた以上の反響が国籍問わずあり本当にビックリしています🙇 写真スタジオでも実感することですが、やはりフィジカルの強さと言うか物質、物体的な需要は今後より強くなるのかもしれません。 このDubplateがReveletion Timeやレコード屋さんに行くきっかけ、はたまた写真を撮るきっかけにもなってくれると嬉しいです☺️ ・Inner Divide ・Incomplete Self "3"までは今までの反響や、プロジェクトの方向性、DJユースが良いのか、それともやりたい事を発信するべきなのか。 どこか手探り状態な感覚があったんですが、今回は自分が出したい音と、定期的なリリースで得た知識が上手く融合し自分らしい2曲になったと思います。 ジャケットはダークながらもストリート色が強くなり過ぎないようフィルムのネガを用いてあかねさんが制作してくれました🙇 DUB TECHNOな雰囲気が非常にお気に入り🦺 是非聴いてみてください🫡 Mastered and dubplate cut at Altphonic Studio. PROOF “3” As spring approaches and things start moving around me, I’ve started to feel a bit of pressure in my production 🥶 After some really unexpected and happy moments, like YAMARCHY san playing Track 1 from January on Sound Metaphors TV, I managed to stay motivated and finish the March dubplate🫡 This time, the artwork features Akane’s @mtmt_akn photography, vacuum-packed to keep it fresh📦 We printed all three sleeves on a large-format sheet and hand-cut them. Since photo paper has a very particular texture, we switched to a slightly more practical material this time. The vacuum packaging idea was inspired by Takaharu Nakamura, who always sends things vacuum-packed for some reason, and a record I picked up at Revelation Time called PROGRESSIVE FOrM. The result is a design that highlights the texture between the photo and the vinyl. The dubplate is available at Revelation Time. Out tomorrow. @revelation_time Also available on Bandcamp and streaming platforms🪩 Big thanks to Eiji san as always🙇 ・BRUTAL FORM This track was developed alongside the February releases. I made it in the living room using only the OP-XY, during a period where I was feeling that seasonal fatigue. I don’t usually like to talk too much about gear, but the OP-XY is a great companion. It’s compact and visually inspiring. Rather than something made specifically for the club, this track reflects my everyday process within this one-year project. ・LESS Made around the time of the party with Lewie san (Tornado Wallece). I focused on a minimal structure with low-end that works in a club, while still not being just a tool. I was a bit unsure about how few elements it had, so I asked Akane for feedback many times. At one point she said, “Did you hear what you just said?” That was enough for me, so I kept it as it is. Currently working on the April releases. It’s interesting to hear how my mood and focus change every month through the music🦺 Mastered and dubplate cut at Altphonic Studio. PROOF “2” – February 🌕 本日2曲アップしました。 今月も納期を合わせてくれたエンジニアさん、 ジャケットを制作してくれたあかね @mtmt_akn さんに感謝🙏 前回に引き続きDubplateは @revelation_time にてお取り扱いいただいております！ えいじさんありがとうございます🙇 ジャケットは写真用紙を使い、 曲のイメージに合わせて1枚ずつ手作業で制作しています📃 イメージが重なり合う感覚もとても面白いので、 数は少ないですが、ぜひ実物を手に取ってもらえると嬉しいです💿 ・HIYOSHI 寒い空気に差し込む光、春を感じる今冬最後の寒波到来だった2月上旬。 近所の小学校で投票を済ませ帰宅後1時間ほどで出来上がった1曲。 前夜に入稿していた別曲を、瞬時に入れ替えたほどテンションは上がっていたものの、エンジニアさんからバイナルカットするにはベースラインの周波数をもう少し上げた方が良いとアドバイスをいただく。 次回の改善点が生まれた。 1月に整えた機材ルーティングで、再生ボタンを押せば直ぐに録音可能な環境と、BAUKETOPというアーティストのYouTubeから得た、JOMOX / ALPHA BASEの知識も大きく影響した。 投票日という日本の未来を少なからず考えた日に出来上がった曲は、これまでにないフローティングなトーンに。 日々の環境がここまで反映するのも楽曲制作の醍醐味なのかもしれない💭 ・FROZEN PATH 1月の入稿後直ぐに出来上がっていた曲。 極寒、積雪、2日酔い、意見の食い違いの中向かった高野山奥之院。無音の雪景色と信仰心。 問い合わせた僧侶の柔らかな印象とは裏腹の、厳しい現実の環境。 それもまた修行かと楽観的には決して捉える事の出来なかった己の小ささを実感し芽生えた緊張感と不安が、なんとも言えないBPM(115)、アシッド感のあるだるいベースラインに繋がった気がする。 Buchla easel commandとELEKTRON Analog Rytmを主体にしたが、この２つの組み合わせはなんとも安心感がないところがその時の心情にマッチしていたのかも🥶 Mastered and dubplate cut at Altphonic Studio. PROOF "1" 新しく完成した2曲をBANDCAMPにアップしました🆙 極少数ですが、Dubplateも初プレスしてみました⚗️ ジャケットは、あかね氏 @mtmt_akn による完全手作り。 いつも暗い曲を作っている中で、ふとした瞬間に現れる「煌めき」を、写真を使って表現してくれました🙏 日々、時間を見つけて音楽制作をする中で、 アウトプットする手段や場所がなければ、いつまで経っても完成しないし、仮に完成したとしても「どうリリースするのか」が近年の課題でした。 過去には、タイミングよくレコードをプレスしてもらったり、リミックスの依頼をいただいたこともありましたが、 自分の年齢や世の流れを考えると、 誰かから声がかかるのを待っていても、何かが起こる可能性は正直高くない。 それなら、完成度やタイミングを言い訳にせず、自分自身で外に出していこうと。 夢は、諦めたら夢じゃない。 自分が生きた証として、存在意義を感じる為、何かを残せたらと思い、毎月デジタルとダブプレートで、コンスタントにアウトプットしていくつもりです💨 自分をどこまで信じられるか。 12月どのような形になっているのか。 今年の新たな挑戦です。 Dubplateはいつも大変お世話になっている @revelation_time さんにてお取り扱いいただいております🙇いつも刺激的なレコード、エイジさんの思考に多大な影響を受けています。 是非店頭で手に取っていただけると嬉しいです！ Mastered and dubplate cut at Altphonic Studio. PROOFでリリースした曲のみでプレイした今回🥹 制作時には数え切れないほど聴き直し、修正を繰り返するものの、ミックスはずれた笑 制作時の風景と懐かしい福岡の光景が交差する不思議な感覚もあり。 スタジオとしての出店からDJまで今年のサークルの目標が全て集結した2日間でした🤝 松尾さん @keisuke__matsuo さんお誘いありがとうございました！ アートワークを今回の出店に間に合わせてくれたノンチェさん @fuguriddim 本当にありがとうございました😭 旧友から両親に甥っ子ファミリーにも会えた楽しい福岡でした🤝 また大阪で日々精進し福岡に帰って来れるように頑張ろう🥋 ありがとうございました🥋 しかし雨やばかった笑☔ 📸 @mtmt_akn taken in 岩田屋 by @guchilink

27日(土)から始まるkoi exhibition #1 @koi_ttg にて、コラボレーション枠で製作したオリジナルのスピーカーを展示いたします🔉 昨年お香用の什器を依頼した時くらいから 「スピーカー作りたいね」って話はしていたのですが、話が進んだのは今年に入り展示会の開催が決まったあたりから。 サークルにオープン当初からお越しいただいているお客様はご存知かと思いますが、最初は天井にKS DIGITALのパワードスピーカーが設置されていました(鳥肌が立つほど感動したスピーカーで今でも自宅で愛用しています)。 そこからヴィンテージオーディオ熱が沸騰し、JBL4311→ALTEC 612C→JBL4343(アルニコ)っと短いスパンでスピーカーが入れ替わっていきました。 4343に関してはフォトTEEまで作りました笑👕 もちろんオーディオが好きというのが第一にありますが、写真スタジオという場所の可能性を模索し、一つの点ではなく多角度から写真を撮ることへのきっかけとなればという思いは、お香の展開とも共通する部分でした💨 その流れの中で、店舗の音響選定などの依頼をお受けする機会がありましたが、あくまでも他社の製品を提案するという形には様々な制約があり、思ったように進まないこともあったり💭難しさを感じることも多くありました。 だからこそ今回オリジナルでスピーカーを作ろうという試みは大きな意味とチャレンジであり、スピーカーの仕組みや鳴り方について理解を深めることが出来ました📖 何が良い悪いではなく、まずはトライアンドエラーを繰り返し理想を追い求める。 100%の物ができたかと言われれば、もちろん改善点はありますが、今回はまずkoiちゃん @katahabattk とプロジェクトが始動しお互いの考えを尊重しながら作業を進めれたこと。 これが１番のコラボレーションだなと感じています🫶🤝 まだまだこれから様々な形を作っていこうと思っています。 まずは今週、我々の第一子をご覧いただきご試聴いただけると幸いです👦 taken in circle photo studio by @guchilink
