The second volume in a series of remixes done by some favorite current artists is here! The one in this post here is a remix of my tune, Scope Creep, by LA-based, @jamma_d . I’m always striving to release good music for driving the streets of LA, and JD took us there better than I could have in a million years. The second remix on the EP is a low-tempo techno version of Moon Walkin’ by Osaka homie, @guchilink . GUCHI-san is the coolest person in all of Japan. He takes us into loopy, heady, hypnotic places with his chuggy remix. Check that one by hitting the bandcamp link in my bio up above. You can grab both remixes there. A good remix EP also needs remixed art! That’s why I asked Seattle-based animator/friend John Howard Thompson to do his own spin on the original artwork my wife, Amy Gorman, made for me last year. Big up @surface__noise for mastering both remixes! The full EP will be on streaming services tomorrow. Thanks for following along and checking in. 🐸

‘Pals FM: Floor Materials Vol.1’ represents the modern dance floor where time, space and tempo have far more freedom for aural expressionism. WALLS AND PALS have just released their four-track EP featuring rhythmic bliss from Mogwaa, GUCHI, Jessie You and Mr. Ho. Label co-founder Mogwaa starts off the A side with his 4am groover ‘Provision 8216’, followed by GUCHI’s ‘THE FUTURE OF EMOTIONS’, filled with laidback techno-breaks. On the B Side, Jesse You’s ‘Silly and Bright’ resounds blissful sunset electro, while Mr. Ho’s #1 showcases a funkier, more uplifting side to his compositions.
